should I bring my soil in for the winter....

I have a little stockpile of bagged soil and compost/manure...can I leave that covered like on the porch for the winter or will the cold weather kill the goodies in the soil? ....should I put it in my attic?

I've left bagged and mixed soil outside for years and it works fine for me.

The microbes present in your soil will go dormant (depending on how cold it is where you live), but aside from that I don't see any down side to it.

Thanks guys.....the lowest we'll see is maybe 5-10degrees F .....but I have it stored on my porch so it won't turn into a block of ice or nothin

Yeah that's what I read....somthing abt the stuff that doesn't "live on" dsnt die but rather puts out spores n regenerates when it warms up....I gotta pretty good mix goin I don't want to alter it in any way
