Short Cubensis Grow Log

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Thought I'd share some pictures. I'll update every day or so. Shouldn't take more than a few days for the first weigh in.

These are Psilocybin Cubensis grown in horse manure and vermiculite indoors in a plastic tub. I used about 1qt of spawn to hpoo. The large cake weighs atleast a couple pounds.

They are being fruiting in a SGFC. Cheap and effective.

nice job. Congrads. Don't stress over drying them. I have discovered that drying too slowly at times causes them to harbor microorganisms that can upset your stomach. This is not to say that there is mo inherent stomach issue in the mushroom but it can exacerbate the problem.

I was optimistically guessing 14g but I'll settle for 10 lol. I'm using a dehydrator so I think it will kill any harmful bacteria or fungus. I'm not 100%, but I believe it heats up to 140-150f.

And the cake has been dunked four about 30 minutes, re-vermed, and put it back in the fruiting chamber. So I think in a week I'll see more pins.

gentlemans bet. 10.6

140 to 170 is just fine so long as you don't leave them beyond their dry point. All this drymistat desicant no heat stuff is a little on the silly side. You will lose one of the actives no matter what you do (which is why eating fresh is always prefered... And the real treat reserved for the grower and his friends alone)

but the main point is to get them cracker ONCE and keep them that way, moisture is now, after all this time being your best buddy, a mortal enemy. Desicant packets are now wise.

I learned the hard way to make sure they are cracker dry. 12 hours after storing them, they were soggy again. I thought they wouldn't be good anymore... But I was wrong :)

I've heard of people using desiccant packets. I'll definately have to look into getting some. For now I'm just storin in mason jars.
