Shiny gold spots on leaves

I don't know what's wrong. They are 4 week old clones just transitioning from veg to bloom.

These spots are very shiny gold and metallic looking. I have a small thrip problem I discovered yesterday. I immediately sprayed dawn ultra soapy water.

They seemed to show up out of no where in a hurry. Please help!!!

Also leaf tips curl up and down. Temps between 75-79 at all times during lights on. I'm using roots organic soil/compost and castings,with kelp meal, crab meal, alfalfa meal, neem meal, and glacial rock dust. Plenty of air circulation. This damage was not here yesterday.

That's nute burn? All organic so I don't use nutes. I make compost teas but just this morning I tried something new. Blue mountain organics super plant tonic. Directions say 2 tablespoons per gallon.

I have a soil ph meter which says 7.0 and as for ppm I'm not sure, but I bubble my water for at least 24 hours before using it. I also mix Tap and bottled water.

no mabe your soil is hot rich in nutrients what is your run off i didnt realy read it but in soil most the time my friends just flush the medien

the other part to that is broad mights cause rust burns hot soil root rot lock out of nutes, um thier is a lot of things go back and do a lil resurch but rince your medien out

to much humidity also can cause this

possibly calmag issue. my previous calmag issue started as like golf/silver flake spotting then progressed to copper spotting until treated.

My ph meter is designed to be put in wet soil 4 inches deep and it registers ph at 7.0

So I should just flush plant then?

i just looked ph check the run off not what your feeding you have to do the work runn of means the water that runs out of the bottom of your pot..check it for ph and ppms dont mater what your say just do it and get in the practice of doing it and not guessing thats what i recomend

I did brew a neem tea to soil and used just a little on the soil...would the neem meal do this?

kinda hard to tell right now especially in that HPS. if you can get it out under some flourescents it would be better.

then i knew it was calcium issue. Oddly im dealing with it again, but i think i got salt build up and not enough calmag feeding now. So i flushed with phd water w/ calmag and they seem to be doing okay now. 1 got a feeding of 7ml calmag with their bloom food tonite. Will know tomorrow if its stopped.

he's doing living organics. So ppm's is irrelevant. Those nutes don't run that's hot. Just neem and alfalfa do. They break down pretty fast. I'm sure he cooked the soil long enough. Imo its possible to be nute burns but then it would be the same all over the plant. I'm leaning towards cal defs. They come on really fast. Its hard to tell under hps lighting. Under white lighting would be easier. I'd say wait a couple days and see if it progresses. Under watering could make.defs come on fast as well. As he said leafs are curling upwards which is a sign of under watering too. When soil dries out. Leaves can can yellow completely over night.

after adjusting my contrast on my monitor i can see yours better. im leaning towards same problem as mine dude.

the golding might be some partial Mg maybe. id dose with epsom and unsulph molasses if you are staying organic. I did that my first time in veg and it seemed to help but i did obtain Botanicare calmag+ the day after and started feeding every watering with that since im using distilled.

Grandmas unsulph has calcium and mag in it which is nice. Kinda hard to over do calcium ive read but very easy and fast for underfed to show up.

Just noticed you mentioned thrip up there... all symptoms are signs of thrip damage as well. So now its a guessing game.

The thrip damage is silver and there is not a lot if them either. I think I caught the thrips early. This is thrip damage
