Shed Grow

Hey Im going to start a grow in my shed. Im going to build a box maybe 2'x2'x7'. I need a way of keeping this box the same temp all day and night. I need some kind of a heater that will keep this box at a growable temp. +10-15 degrees when the lights are on. I want to grow all year round so in the winter when its 15 degrees out this box is nice and toasty.
The only idea I had was to use a 50 watt power resistor fastened to a heatsink and have a fan blowing hot air in and then out.

Any ideas?

thanks

I dont know if oyu need a heater -I use a 400 watt HPS light, it generates to much heat ieven in the dead of winter with snow fallign down.

I have more of a problem extracting the heat -- I use a squirel fan in the summer I jsut pray -- lol but i do move all the hot air out as fast as possible, lots of fans and a passive intake for cooler air.

I keep the fans on during the dark cycle -- they stay on 24/7.

I am investing in a portable air conditioner this year, I think it will increase yields with controlling the temps -- the prob is they run 300-600 bucks --- but its easily paid for if your not buying your weed anymore...

Build your self a nice little room under the shed, temps are consistently 58 f all year long:) Hopefully I will be able to implement this in the future. Just have to figure out what to tell the neighbors if they can see you digging, or going out to the shed all the time.

walmart sells little heaters (put on timer opposite your light schedule). Cooling is the bigger problem.

id love to build a room under the shed but... I have a septic system under it lol, going down woudl not be the best of ideas.

but the original poster may think about this, if they can put in a sub pump incase of flooding or such.
