If it’s decent genetics it looks like it will be ok.

Takes practice. Just keep growing and asking questions.

From your pics I suggest reading more about nutrients and feeding and watering.

I was a massive underfeeder. I was afraid to burn plants. Kept making me go back and forth over and underfeeding. Took a lot of practice to get it right for me.
Thanks! I was really excited to chop it down tonight now I'm kind of bummed but that comment made me feel a little better does it look like I was over feeding?

I'm on my first grow right now, just started week 1 of flower, and I'm running into that problem myself. Back when it was vegging I nute burned it the tiniest bit (literally the tip of one, maybe two leaves) and I've been paranoid since haha

It is important to keep in mind the plants growing cycle and needs during the different stages of growth as far as feed strength.

They need the most 2nd half of stretch and initial blooming like weeks 2-5 and need the least during ripening.

I always give a bit of fresh water to sort of pad the roots before adding fertilizer.

And I taper the concentration up slowly through flower and then reduce it accordingly during ripening to maybe water only the last 1 or 2 times.

I also feed light every watering rather than heavier every once in a while. They like nice light snacks.

Or massive deficiency or lockout from blocked roots.

It’s ok. We all go through this learning curve. My favorite breeder says it like this. He is French and lives in Spain and English is his worst language.

He says “little yellowing ok” “err on the side of underfeeding”.

Yes, lights back on. I've never done lights off for extended periods before harvest, so I don't know for sure, but I don't think it's needed. Chop when lights off.

I tried it when I grew my plants at the same time. It reduces curing time. Better flavor and smell sooner.

But I plant staggered perpetually now so there are compromises to be made as the flower room remains on its light cycle every day.

I'm running 2 tables so 1 table is in the middle of blooming while I'm chopping the other.
I don't get to play around...

I just realized I messed up the timeline haha I'm at the END of week 1 of flower. But that's all awesome info, thanks.

This grow has taken SUPER long. It was in veg for 13 weeks before it got to the size it's at now. I'm doing LST, and I've only had CFLs to use for lighting so far. I'm not the only one surprised it's done so well. Here are some pics I took today. One of the things that's making feeding difficult is how long it's taken to grow to this point, my week 8 was probably most people's week 6. You don't realize how big of a difference it makes until you're in the thick of it

They look great!

It only gets better with practice.

The larger 2 are on week 5 for comparison. Just transplanted up to 3 gallon. Under a 315 cmh 3100k.

They explode in growth quickly at this point. So I flower them after a week after the transplant usually.

Text book healthy right there. That is the point when they take off. I was looking at the pictures I have with dates. Even I was blown away at how fast they progress. I'm going to keep taking pics and and show from seed to fruition....... should be cool

Thanks man,

I look at my plants every day and am still amazed at how much they can grow even in just a day.

Especially a wild stretchy sativa heavy hybrid. I saw 3” growth on a Heri jack since yesterday. Under a 600.

She better get used to some pinching and twisting. Hope she likes it. ;-)

There are points where I walk in the green houses just 24 hours later and I'm amazed. They really do grow wicked fast when given everything they need and tended to correctly. Some pics I have are from 2 days apart. I almost can't believe it. If I didn't take the pics myself I'd call bullshit....lol

Again beautiful plants as always MMG. Im off to bed. I had a raccoon decide to jump off a tree near one of my green houses. He was doing fine until his fat ass got to the ribs. I'm hoping he's not inside. I checked the best I could and there were no broken branches on the plants directly below the hole. Il know for sure in the morning I guess.

Congrats on the harvest.. Making it through the entire grow and harvesting is a good accomplishment. It's not easy, especially for a new grower. Couple things though.

1) Don't harvest early
2) Don't smoke before proper dry and cure

Both those things combined equal a very diminished quality of weed potency and taste.
