Shatter/wax/budder..?

Ok, I have recently been reading up on Extractions particularly BHO.(Mostly threads here) Now after some reading I see there that there are many techniqes and many different temps. And variables that will determine your final outcome, Maybe im just not picking up on it, Can anyone tell me in a( general rule of thumb) kinda way, At what stage does your extracted oil (BHO) go from the Wax/Shatter/Oil and In what order does that happen, And what temperature does that have to be at that particular moment to make the change? And the method of purge at that moment as well? Oven, Vac purge ect.

there really is no general rule.. it's all about genetics/ratios of lighter "wet" compounds and method of extracting/purge

if you can work strictly with one plant from clone each time you make hash, will really kick that learning curve.. it's largely intuitive based on look and feel of oil. but really it goes oil then shatter and most will wax on their own at room temp overtime if the melting point is low enough and the product is pure with a close transition temp
