To be more clear. When I do dabs my tolerance goes up a lot. So if I switch back to flowers I find the effects to be very short lived....like 30-45min.

Yup. Same here. I think some people just haven't been dabbing long enough to notice the double tolerance effect(or perhaps they need to smoke stronger flowers). I've been BHO bombing for 6 years, i can say flowers will get me blasted everytime no matter how much BHO I've been dabbing and thats coming from someone who can smoke/vape like no tomorrow.

live resin, aka oil made from fresh frozen weed, generally speaking, will not turn to shatter no matter how well purged. oil made from terpy weed well handled can be like this also. diverse terp combos from different strains is what we need to avoid tolerance build up.
What does any of this have to do with what I posted? My point remains, all shatter is oil but not oil is shatter.

True but the one difference being that ISO leaches chlorophyll and Butane does not. May have a different taste and a very dark green look to it. Personally not a fan of the ISO myslef, not as strong but can do the trick if used sporadically IMOISO is not as explosive and easier to deal with.
You will have the same effect, if made correctly.
If you take to much of anything, your body can get used to it..

You know I've only had shatter once at the last treating yourself. Met a guy in the vape section and he had about 7 kinds on him and was nice enough to dab me up with some super lemon haze...I got tunnel vision and had to plop down in a char for a bit to chill.....super potent.
