Shark Shock

Hi all.

Ive just joined rollitup. Im a first time grower, and a total novice, so any input is welcome.

I'm thinking of growing 'shark shock' for medicinal reasons. I'm thinking of a 1m x 1m flowering room, with a 600w light, for approximately 4 plants. I'm going to try and get a perpetual grow going, for a steady supply, so when the plants are ready for the flowering room, ill take clones and start them in a veg room.

few questions:

1. How big would a veg room need to be?

2. Is shark shock suitable for cloning?

3. Any other info which might be useful for a complete novice grower.

Please and thank you.

size of your room depends on strain. if your pressed for space, probably grow an indica, if you have no limits, go for a sativa, indica usually stay short and bushy, when sativas are generally taller, and stretch more...just my 2 cents.

ok all I did, was google shark shock strain (nice choice by the way) and its an indica, not autoflowering, so yes you can clone, and you shouldn't have any height probs with this one....good luck to ya. you got nutes picked out and soil picked too? I see you had yr light set up picked out....fitting every little piece to complete the puzzle is very important.!

Growing tips\essentials:-
Indica marijuana seeds tend to have minimal plant stretch compared to Sativas:- note - INDICA IS SHORT AND STUBBY.

If you notice your marijuana plants (especially seedlings) growing quickly like they're reaching for the sky then it's time to move the light lower. Improperly distanced lights is the major cause of marijuana plant stretch.
Or you can pack soil around the stem to hold it up, this actually does the plant good (producing more roots)
High humidity for veg 45%
Low humidity for fower 25%
Blue light is best before flower stage:- (vegative stage)
Red,blue and i bit off uv is best for flower and bud stage.
11/13 cause Sat pheno expressions same way 13/11 causes indica pheno expressions
24/0 light for seedlings and veg stage
While simply changing to a 12/12 light cycle will induce flowering, there is a trick to jump start the process. Between the switch from an 24/0 to a 12/12 light cycle, let your plants sit in total, uninterrupted darkness for 36 hours.
Your plant will indicate it's readiness to flower by switching from branches growing symmetrically opposite each other, to branches that grow alternately from the main stem.
12/12 until flowers appear.
Then keep 12/12
Nodes and Internodes:-
Shorter internodes mean more buds
Some short, bushy marijuana strains (which produce killer buds) include:
Northern Lights (also low odor)
Sharks Breath
White Rhino
The easiest and most under-used way to control internodal stretch is temperature control. Plant internodal length is directly related to the difference between day and night temperatures ? the warmer your day cycle is as compared to your night cycle, the greater your internode length will be.
The ideal temp is 24 c night+day
Do not use auto flowering seeds:-
You cant take cuttings
And only harvest up to 2ounce
Sexing plants:-
Female have white hairs on first sign of flower. And do not seed (which mean more potency)
Male have no white hair and do seed (which mean less potency )
Taking cuttings:-
In vegetive stage take your weed cuttings from the lower branches means they will root faster and be stronger .
The kelvin colour scale:-

Flush the plants under the tap in the bath until water runs clear then leave to drip dry, 2weeks before harvest ( this clears all nutes and produces a smother smoke)
Final 48 hours – You can further flush the nutrients and unwanted sugars from your flowering weed by turning out all light. The plant will utilize the sugars already produced during photosynthesis to continue to swell the budding points.
the end of the buds point up and go opaque or brown...ITS HARVEST TIME...
the earlier the harvest the more thc (celebral high)
The later the harvest the more cbd (body high)
TRY TO GET INBETWEEN EARLY AND LATE HARVEST.
Dry in dark cupboard with fan ( on low not directed straight at buds)
low humidity at 20 Celsius
for 1 week

Thanks McGee.

No nutrients or soil picked yet. Hard to know...any suggestions welcome??!!!

What about the veg room? What kind of dimensions would we be talking for 5'ish plants?

Thanks ASkAPro.

So, after I germinate and put them in soil, keep them under a blue light, 24hrs, until I put them in to flower?

Its actual a paste from my own document dork, nice to here a familier voice
Shame. Now you have to be held responsible for some of the rubbish contained within.

I mean according to you, your buds go opaque when ready for harvest. what were they before that, transparent?
