Shaking weed to trim it?

Im telling you, nice slow dry of an entire plant, then I can basically destem an entire plant in no time:
(Note: Video is not me, I do it by hand, but same concept)

Then I feel around for the largest buds and usually trim those by hand, then the rest will be so dry that the leaves will break off easily and are mostly trimmed by the time I get to them by hand.

For large jobs I think this is promising:

Perpetual? Once a week? How do you do once a week? How many tents do you have?
two, one for veg, one for flower, take one out of the flower tent, replace it with one from the veg tent, start a new seed or cutting. run 8 plants in flower, about 16 total, bounce up to 20 with clones, till i cull them down to the best one

at the risk of being ostracized, i took a poop plant that i didnt care about, let it get kinda dry, then threw the buds in a 5 gallon bucket. took a walmart bag stretched it over the opening, and shook my bucket in the trimbag style, after about 15 rotations, my herb now looks like dipsensary herb. same shape, lost all of the stuff that makes it look homegrown, my calyxs, trichromes, hairs, shape,
it was effective, but id never do it again.
as an experiment it DID work, but if i put my time and energy into any other plant, they would get the same attention at the harvest and dry that i gave them their entire cycle. hand triming sucks, but I (capitol i) prefer my herb to stand out from the dispensary garbo available.

Bust me a link to these bags. And I would love to see some pics of your before dry buds and the same buds like halfway through and after the bag shaking. You got my attention and I have no problem buying and trying.

I've been hearing rave reviews about the trimbag. I haven't tried it yet, but I have been using the concept in my drying for years. When my buds are in the paper bag they get shaken around a little to stir them and it trims off most of the loose sugar leaves. I actually get VERY little trichome loss in the bag, and usually, I jar it like that. If there is anything that needs to be cleaned up its real quick, and it all gets saved for extraction anyway.

So I haven't had time at all for trimming, our 4th child came 2 weeks early and I ended up having to dry some whole plants and try this box shaking idea. First off, I did not have the right buds to do this. I bought some clones which turned out to be horrible, not sure if it was the clones or the strain, cookies n creme. Started 4 clones and after 2 weeks replaced the sorriest looking one with a throw away clone I had. Got 7 oz from the throw away clone and the cuts I bought were mostly shitty popcorn buds. So frustrating when you have 4 plants and one looks awesome and the other look like shit. Anyway I did the box thing and it works, but its still a pain in the ass. Not really sure how much time if any it saved me because I still had to trim a little afterwards.

Seriously should consider this thing. It looks lame and like it would beat up your buds. I have been using four of them for a year or two now. Probably trimmed 150lbs at least with them.

Once you know how many spins each strain needs it does 75% of the work. I have saved 1000’s of dollars and hours with it.

I think I might actually get one of those bags to be honest. If the people who smoke the weed like it then let it be, I'll make better hashes. I just did my first run of dry ice hash a month or so back. I got so much more than with water it's crazy.

haha ya I did.

I am getting ready to run a way better looking round through some bags this weekend. To be honest, it’s always best to hand trim. But if it’s going to take a ton of hours to get it done or you have to bring over trimmers, these are the best option

I used to bring in trimmers but a year or two ago an older couple who lived just down the mountain was murdered by the “dumb ass whiteboy” they hired to help them trim. He was some 19 year old douchbag that finished the day trimming them came back that night and killed them as well as their brother. As I understand it he killed three people for less than 5 pounds of herb.

Now I try to keep the trimmers to a minimum, 5 years ago I was paying $25 an hour and would have them just for at least a week. Now days I can’t even find a trimmer worth that kind of money.

unless i know them well, i don't want anyone involved in my business...90+% of people i've ever met have a bad case of running dicksucker....they couldn't shut the fuck up if their own lives depended on it, and if they're talking about my business, it might
