This is for my fellow man, the father, the drug addict, the hopeless romantics and the emotionally challenged. The men who have had their heart broken by the hammer of doubt, had their love stolen by trust going sour, stay strong. You are someone's rock and often you get rolled over, you give everything knowing everyone else has forgotten their receipt, you loved a woman to the point of addiction and when you confessed your sins you were cast aside, stay strong. This is for the man who works long hours playing catch up on his bills, the man who fights for what he believes in even though he has no more belief in the fight, this is for the man who once gave everything he had to something he thought he could believe in only to fail, stay strong. This is for those times when the weight of it becomes clear and all you see is a path of pain and anger but just beyond that lies a smile, stay strong. Keep your head up for you are a soldier covered in the armor of the righteous and uninspired, let wisdom be your shield and use no weapon because the only thing that can kill is pride. Just bring truth when you speak and make love the color of your eyes, stay strong. Rise above like a vaulted ceiling and swallow that pride until you shit courage. Let those who cannot sing listen and those who cannot listen perish, because no matter how many mistakes you make and you will make many, no matter how many times you swear this will be the last time, no mattter how many times you rush into things, no matter how many anythings, there will come that time where you must.....stay strong.
