LOL yea I feel ya. Its always something for me that drives me nuts with patience and growing. Right now it feels like my seedlings are crawling along at a snails pace. I have many virtues, but patience isn't one of them. I am jsut glad I have my outdoor harvest started so I don't have to rush my indoor harvest.

yea thats roughly where I am at to with my seedlings.
i know its annoyin eh?

i got some jiffy pellets cos it seemed like a good idea. soaked a bean in water til they started to crack put it in a jiffy and fuk all lol dug it out 3 days later hadnt grown a bit.. sooo i soaked another jiffy left it in half inch of water checked the ppm after a hour or so and it around 400??? surely thats to high for a seedling??
anyway back to goin straght into dirt after a soak lol

I have never had good luck with jiffy pellets. Every time I used them it seemed like they were always either soaking sopping wet or bone dry, there was no happy middle.

I cant belive the ppm's cumin outta it lol for a seed thats gotta be alot. Might be good for clone tho.
But yh they seem either wet ot dry
Have you tried em with clones papa

I tried cloning with them, but I couldn't get them to root very well. I mean the would eventually root, but not very quickly. I have honestly found the easiest and most full proof method for me and cloning is using regular potting soil, cut big clones, at least 6 inches if not 8, trim the bottom nodes of. I have tons of aloe vera plants around my building, so what I like to do is cut a couple inches off the end of an aloe vera plant, delicately cut the outer skin off, and then chop up the inner go up place in a shot glass with some water, and soak the fresh cutting for like 10 mins. Then straight into soil water as you normally would water a plant, keep them under a humidity dome, and they root quickly and abundantly. You can also buy aloe vera juice to if you don't have aloe plants locally. 1 shot glass full of the juice will cover quite a few cuttings to.

They make all sorts of rooting aids, from clonex to just generic rooting powder from any home depot. They all seem to work about the same as far as the powder goes. The liquid clonex is one of the better ones out there, the liquid seems to work a tad better then the powder. But I like simple, and not having to buy shit. So free aloe plants > buying rooting hormones
