shadow people and dreams

have u ever seen shaddow people? im native american and black foot indian and it seems that i often see shadow people when im "asleep" except its not a dream its REAL! ever since i was 12 or so when i go to sleep i close my eyes and just wake right up not recalling and dreams. but when i do recall the nights a few things have happened. whenever i dream the only dreams i can recall are ones that i relive a few years down the road. sometimes when i wake up i have seen shodow figures around my room. its not a dream. when i wake up i can see hear smell and feel but i cannot move eyes wide open. my girl has gotten scared a few times bc i know shes trying to talk to me we both remember the convoi but she doesnt see the shadows. its like i wake in this dimension but i see entities from the next dimension also and cant react till i go back to sleep. i hear voices, have been touched and even yanks out of bed i swear to that. i also have a cousin my dad and his mom are siblings from the native side and his dad and my mom are cousins from the black foot side. he too also has these visions. it there anyone out there that feels these entities or sees shadow people even when they are awake??? (hapens too just not so often) could we be psychic or something?? please someone tell me theyre experience

I had a buddy with Schizophrenia that described the same kinds of symptoms. Schizophrenia runs in the family generally from what he said; so other family members having similar problems would make sense. I'm not a doctor, so don't take this as definitive. However, I would encourage you to get that checked out.

its sleep paralysis, it seems a lot of people see them shadows and shit when it happens. used to happen to me a lot, scared the shit out of me at first because I couldn't feel myself breathing, but once I realized I wasn't going to die I started to not mind it

yes there are many samans and witches. i have two close aunts who are witches and a couple older uncles and a grandma too but they have mostly passed now. i read up on sleep peralysis before bc my doctor said thats all it was but then i would have things happen, people knock on my walls/doors, iv been dragged out of bed by "something", and something verry heavy 3-400lbs walks in my new place sometimes and others have heard it, and seen it along with me. my family is verry spiritual and i believe. but i dont know if this entity is the same iv seen bc i see different figures. small and tall children and men. i was also scared at first when they started but dont often scare me anymore unless the shadows are touching me or scare my girl too and i cant talk or hold her.

a person practicing witch craft, or a shaman will be coupled with an entity or more from the other dimension, some people call them demons, spirits, jin, or what ever.
it includes performing sacrifices for those entities in return for their services. if you live in a place where witch craft was performed, or if you inherit certain objects that had strange symbols or code writtin on it, you will have these strange entities.

I use to see them quite often when I was a young kid but not in a dream it would only be when I woke in the wee hours of night and they were rather large too, when I could finally open my eyes fully they would just disintegrate into the air.:blsmoke:

I actually have a cousin that has described similar things.. Not exactly the same but he also has native/indian blood in him. He describes symbols that will float around his vision, and help him out. he claims they are the symbols of his ancestors as he's looked them up. I remember at a young age (he was probably 8-12) he told me he was playing "hide and seek" with a friend and when he stopped counting, a symbol I guess floated in a direction strongly, and lead him right to his friends. He claimed back then he saw them all the time and they'd do wierd things like this frequently.. He said it just always seemed like they were doing something specific all the time.. I haven't asked him in years... Really sparked my interest on this stuff again.

I think it is people slipping into or awakening in that medatative state, without them knowing/understanding this is whats happening.... that point where the mind disconnects or forgets about the body...but these people awaken and there still in that theta state or whatever they call? their minds are still open therefore they have other dimensional awareness..untill one has that 'pure intent to wake the body and the mind reconnects usually starting by the wiggling of fingertips as the body regains senation and one is back in the 3rd

Just wondering what religion the 1700-1900 American Indians studied if any.
We have these old movied based on fucking up Indian burial grounds and such and it
seems like a strong connection to the underworld.

When I was very young I saw some black thing that went from the floor to the ceiling and seemed very evil.
I remember just sitting, staring at this thing, not being able to scream.
I also remember in my 20's, staying up the entire weekend using coke or meth.
By Sunday night I was seeing shadows and shit moving about the house.

well the shadows iv seen werent bc i smoked meth and iv seen them reacurring for most my life. there are spirits all around us u just have to open urself to whats really there with u.... and as for native religeon some are wicken type based on white magic natural healing and such, such as a shamman. and some have a religeon based on nature. everything that comes from nature should be thanked for and every tree, plant, animal, human everything has a soul and is connected altimately as one. native americals now adays alot are christian and such.

Interesting.
I do believe the deceased are amongst us on occasion.
Old American Indians had a good system and respect for things they consumed and the land they dwelled upon.
Then the discovery of America and such and a lot of their culture went to hell, so to speak.

I dont think dreams are any part of a soul or afterlife precursor.They are a sort of messaging system from your subconscious to the conscious and cognitive.What would the primary function of a dream be if not to attempt to bring awareness of something that is currently obscure within emotion?Though it isnt all dreams that do this,some dreams are just a wash& rinse sort of reset and are a release of emotions that have been pent up or unexpressed.I know that I have had dreams with the shadow figures in them,I always find myself confronting them with questions in those dreams and they disappear each time as if to evade my own understanding.They are only scary if you dont attempt to understand what your dealing with,,shadows are typicaly associated with what is unknown in dreams,shadow figures are more like unknown parts of our character that we havent learned how to acknowledged yet IMO, aside from that dreams are more about your sense of "I" and how to deal with the current state its in and where it is going.My 2 cents...

Its a sad thing that a lot of our people are Christian now. Probably the biggest part of our culture replaced by the god of the white man. Are you in the U.S? I always wondered if Natives in the U.S were like Natives up here in Canada.

My dad had an experience with a tall shadow being. He was in his late 20's and it woke him up from a hangover and he just stared for a while, terrified. Then when he blinked, it was gone. He quit drinking after that lol.

yes i live not too far from u souuthern ny some are christian.. alot, but id say in my family about 50_60% live for the earth

Most of my family is christian. My uncle is pretty dope though, hes pretty cultured. He introduced me to a medicine man who has spiritual powers and theres apparently a lot more people like that. My grandma thinks a demon is taking control of me and my uncles life lol though she still loves us.
