Sexy Sexing Ratio???

Hey guys, another question.
My first grow was like 100 bagseeds, which ended up being 45 plants in 1G pots before sexing. After I sexed had 31 females. I was thinking it was going to be closer to a 50/50 split on the sexing but guessed I got lucky....
Second grow. Germed like 80 bagseeds (good stuff), ended up again with 45 keepers, into the 1g pots. Sexed a few days ago and have like...35 females this time. What's the deal? Are MJ seeds predominantly female or am I getting lucky or what? They've all got bud starts and I've been inspecting them for seed pods, only found one that I think might be a herm so I'm keeping a close eye on it.
Anyone have any information on the sexing ratios?

There are a few things that give you a bigger female ratio such as nitrogen rich soil, higher humidity, more blue light, and less lighting hours (like around 16 opposed to 24 on). Even claims of 100 percent female from doing things like exposing seedlings to a lot of carbon monoxide. Maybe your conditions are suited to produce more females.

I do all the things bostoner just said, and usually end up with way more females than males... Just got thru arguing the point that vegging from seedlings under strong MH will produce more females, and I swear by it, but others strongly disagree... For me, the proof's in the puddin' tho... I even keep my veg hours at 18/6, and usually get 60+% females with regular seeds, whether from bags of dank that have the occaisional seed(which is likely feminized from a hermie parent, anyways), or from ordered packs... I do not recommend fem'd seeds though...

Wow, very interesting. My specs are as follows:
Avg Temp: 82F consistently, I don't have a day/night difference built in.
Relative Humidity: Usually between 50-70, when it hits seventy though I turn on the dehumidifier and drop it to around 40, then it slowly builds back up again.
Lights: Start with CF's t12's and t8's, then roll into 3 1000k HPS, cycle is 18/6.
Soil: This time was FFOF, first time was a hodgepodge of SS mix#4, promix MX, and black gold. Used MG first time around, using Advanced Nutes Jungle Juice this time.

Think I'll stick with this for the time being, seems to be working good.

Because of the offchance that hermies can happen later on with these, as many times the fem'd seeds came from hermie plants and can have the ability to carry on these traits in their progeny... Most of the time hermies only occur because of a grower's own fault, like poor conditions causing stress, like over or under feeding them, or light poisening... I just like regular seeds best because of the more stable genetics they generally possess...
@GanjaGod - Why do you not recommend fem'd seeds?
