Sexing

hi there weed lovers, after years of smoking weed im growing my own & its doing very well.
the problem i have is trying to find out the sex of my plant. its been under 12/12 for 2 weeks now & there is no sign of which sex it is.
can any one tell me if this is normal & how long it could take ?
im using 60 w flouros in a 18" square wardrobe.

Welcome, mine took 2-3 weeks before showing sex but from reading it depends on strain, mines just bag seed so I will never know strain, I have 2 in flower 1 showed after 2 weeks the other took 3 both are now in full bloom, some bloom burst or another nute may help promote blooming, I use bloom burst (10-52-10) myself.

welcome 02, how old is your plant. you might need a loupe or magnafine glass to see the pre-flowers

it took me 19 days with bagseed to see sex. patience...

I got a question to add to this...my baby started out female but we werent' ready for to flower yet so I threw her back into veg....please tell me I didnt hermi my plant.

my plant is 3 months old now mate & its 14 inches at the moment. it was a seed from a friend so i dont know what strain it from either. just hope its worth it.

i have just had a good close look at my baby & im a proud father of a girl. phew!!! lol. least i wont have to start all over again.
my first grow with only one seed & i got a girl yeeehaaa !!!!
