Sex in vegative stage?

Showing sex in veg stage?

I have a handful of plants under 2 430watt Phillips Son Agro systems..

and a few of the bagseed ones are showing sex already and I have them under 18hours of light per day....

Would it be the strain or what thats causing this?

Im curious about this also, Ive got 3 plants vegging 24/0 and 2 are female, 1 not showing yet, The 2 females are obviously a different strain. Do we have to start flowering when they are showing sex?

nop we dont i just read up on a strain im growing "Cinderella99" it also shows sex very early in its life...

You can continue to veg as long as you would like.......

Im having a terrible time sexing... no preflowers on either mother (the seeds germed over 8 weeks ago). I have a clone from each plant in the bud room and they are not budding at all, having said that they have only been growing for two weeks under 12/12. Sigh, I just want to know if my work will bare fruit.

I think dude was probably joking when he asked for the seeds, not sure if thats what set Andrew off or not.....but either way, some petty bullshit that nobody should sweat. Who cares what one dude says, ignore him.

If they are actually starting to flower while still in veg, then they will not be very much use to us, in planning our indoor grow cycles. But in these hybrids of hybrids you never know what you'll get. I imagine that you are seeing preflowers--plants sprouting some pistils at some nodes--and that's all. It won't continue into full flowering, I don't think, until you switch to 12/12.

No thats exactly what preflowers mean. When you see them the plant has started flowering no matter if the plant is 2 weeks old or 2 months old. When preflowers show, it is flwoering. Now thats not to say you can take any plant and switch it to 12/12 and force flowering. All preflowers are are natures way of saying im flowering. For it to fully turn into full blown buds it has to have 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness. Preflowers just mean "Hey!! Im ready for some darkness now!" There are some autoflowering strains that will do it wether you are ready or not. As for the bickering, i dont think ANY of it was directed to me (Jonnyblaze24). All i asked for was some seeds. Just wanted to know where to get them. I think these 2 or 3 people had some beef going on before they posted in this thread. None of that was directed towards me dude.
