Lol u can see my ghetto fan set up I had this big fan but it doesn't oscillate so I just have this one blowing down on to the floor seems to help them dance around while not blowing directly on anything.

Hey

Gonna try and wire this light controller, my wires from the panel are red/black and ground..

Its the helios 11 controller.

Any of you have any expierence wiring these things? @Renfro i can only assume does, he built a crazy ass controller himself ffs lol

Ya i did that first thing this morning, before i smoked lol

I just opened the controller to have a look, L1 looks normal, it seems L2 is empty and has a red x above it, L3/5 is beside it and appears to have a terminal to screw the wire into

I see ground screw down below.

I think i got this shit lol

For clarification purposes, is either of the lugs for positive or negative specifically? or can either go into either lug?

it dont say on the terminal + or -

So im in the room about to hook up light controller, snap a few pics of the plants for the journal, thats when i noticed a strip was gone out, as i was going to investigate the issue the whole light shorted out.

It seems another one of those shitty cheap ass plugin connectors that cutter are using on these strips failed and released from the solder, it then flicked itself over to the other connector on the same strip and stuck to it, causing the light to short out.

Ima say it now, im about 1 more led issue away from throwing these things in the corner and filling the room with a few 1k de hps and a mini split lol

did the short fry the driver?
no , as far as i can tell the driver seems fine. I secured the loose wire with a marette and plugged light back in to see wtf, it lit up....this is the good driver btw lol...or it was

i got it all unplugged and am about to take it down and put it back on the work table
