I figure id take this time to ask any questions I have about the operation of c02. Ive been trying to read as many informative threads as possible, lol.
My space is a 5x5x7 tent with a carbon filter exhausting through an air cooled 400w hood using a 6" vortex fan. Filter->-hood-->fan-->
It's my understanding that I want to time the fan to turn off for X amount of minutes, while the fan is off the c02 releases into the tent and drops down onto the plants. Correct? Here are the calculations I got from the calculator:
Grow room area: 175 cubic feet
Amount of CO2 required: 0.21 cubic feet
On time: 12.6 minutes
So now the fan is off, the c02 just ran for 12.6 minutes. Im leaving the fan off for an addition 15 minutes to allow the plants to intake most of the c02. Is my logic correct?
Here are some of my basic questions, but first please let me know if my above thinking is wrong.
Which controller should I be looking into to control the fan and c02 operation?
How many times do I want to feed the grow room c02 in a day?
What is the most efficient way to hit the plants with the c02
The tank and controller would be outside of the tent and obviously only the line would be going in.
