Im about to set up a flood and drain table in a 3x4 tent the table will be 3x3. My question is should i flower a bunch of clones in it or just 2 plants and let them grow big? Im looking to maximize yield. But my plant count is only 24.

You can achieve the same either way. You could grow 1 or 2 plants out to fill the whole space with a little training, or you can do a bunch of small plants and flip them early.
If it's your first time, I'd just run a handful and keep them fairly small just to get a run out of the way with your new setup.

Its my first time doing the flood and drain but have been growing in coco for years. The smaller plants seem more appealing just because i could have alot less veg time. But dont want to sacrifice the yield. Thanks for your input. I think ill do a bunch of small ones the first couple runs then give just 1 or 2 plants a try to see the yield difference.

The short veg time is very appealing. If we didn't have a 6 flowering plant limit to stay legal, I would have done a sea of green with a bunch of small plants in a table too.
