Serious question

this is the timer i am using for my light, it has a plug for one light, i just bought a new light and i was wonding if i put a splitter in the timer can i connect both my lights to one timer. i tried today and used an old splitter it didnt work i an going to buy a new one tomorrow hopefully, if this isnt possible is there a splitter i can get for my light fixture to have two bulbs running out of it instead of just one?

Well that link gave me a page error.... but yes you can do it. Get a Power Strip (a good one with surge protection). You plug the power strip into the timer and then plug your lights into the power strip.

MAKE SURE you do NOT exceed the amperage the power strip is rated for! I have a HPS, 2 fans and an air pump plugged into one power strip with no problems.

I'm with FL,
Make sure your breaker is rated less than your actual outlet. This way if it overdraws - it'll pop the circuit and not burn and melt the outlet. Good Luck and good growing.

yeah i hooked it all up this morning and it works great thanks for the help and for the fans, should i just pick up a small 8 inch diamter desk fan or something from the homedepot?

I use 8inchers so thats cool. Just don't beam it at her - angle it so that it doesn't overly dry your foliage. Oscillating is best but I get away with my 8inchers.

so best bet is to keep light eight inches from top of the coala?

What kind of lights my friend? Gas lamp require dedicated ventilation... Seriously!! I use a dedicated 265cfm for my kW.

i have 2 42watt cfl and a 27 watt sunlamp and shes growing like a beauty shes about 1.5 tall i just topped her shes 1.5 months old and the stalk is purple and crystaly..how you think it will turn out? and shes got some pretty nice colored hairs as well this is my first grow

CFL's should be REAL close to the plants... i keep mine under an inch away.
