Serious Kali Mist Phenos

Over the years, I have seen a few tips on KM pheno selection for

"Most sativa like, also most fragrant" - Homebrewer

"Wide pistols, like a knife blade" - Fly by Night

"Strong incense fragrance" - Many

Proof is in the pudding, smoke testing a batch, but what traits distinguish your fav cut ? Looking for the classic cerebral, feel good KM buzz.

Any help appreciated

I'm not sure you're going to find what you're looking for with the current stock.. their genetics changed over the years because of a bust he lost the father, and he moved in a more indica direction to increase yield. There are some pre2k crosses out there like Pineapple Fields from Dynasty that might be worth trying.

Thanks for the replies, but I have found some very good phenos over the last 5 years or so out of maybe 20 fems grown out. Best smoke I've ever had and I'm no noobie. Some changes over time ? Sure, but he basically reverted back to the original. I've grown out Western Winds (the original Kali) and it is very similar in growth and effect - excellent !

With limited space, it is tuff to take clones and maintain them for 100 days waiting for the candidates to mature and cure. I know, I've done it. Any criteria narrowing the herd early on is helpful.

Give me a description of your favorite pheno ! I'v got one that is getting that KM fragrance and couple trending that way, all at 7 weeks. One of the latter is already starting to foxtail a bit.
