Serious AK47... Anyone have it recently?

I got big chunky, sweet buds in 9wks the lat time that I had it. It was 3to4 yrs ago... What did you not like about it? My strains now are all heavy, looking for something not so sedating.
 
I had a hermi,which was not my fault...It would not Finnish either, chopped her down around 75 days (I had 6 females).no taste, very weak high ended up making oil.I received these in 2012 at the Treating yourself convention.

sad to hear that of a classic strain, were the beans you had from an original sealed breeders pack or pick & mix seeds?

Yes sealed pack,from their booth at the convention.Honesty one of the worst seed runs I've had ever...I should have culled them all,when I found the hermi a week into flower..

damn damn damn...very sad to hear that cos im always a bit suspect of pick & mix seeds even from the major banks...but yours was in a sealed pack...not a good sign

I am ordering Scotts OG. I dont think you should fret about ordering it, it was the AK that I was 2nd guessing...

It really is hard picking a RareD strain, because everybody has had success with different stuff.

I was just hoping it actually arrives safely at all.
 
I've run them before. I won't run them again. It's OK. I'm not missing it that's for sure. If you grow them in soil eventually 2-4 sets of clones and they'll turn auto. I lost every female I thought about saving. Usually it started to flower while it was still rooting in the flat. I ran reg seeds 6 at a time. I went through 3 packs and nothing to show for it. I'm told it doesn't do this in hydro for some reason.

Had to chop a Serious 6 plant outside that went herm on me... started flowering too soon then revegged meanwhile other girls from the same pack are looking to be quite late for the season here... Only two plants look like they're actually definitively going to finish.

Disappointing.

That word seems to come up a lot when discussing Serious Seeds.

Sannie is still doing excellent work over in Holland. They have some good breeders still. But a lot of the bigger companies are out sourcing seed production and I can imagine causes problems for QC. In the case of Serious the guy acts like he went around the world collecting all these various land races when I think almost everyone and their dog knows that he's working with the same genetics guys like Neville and everyone was working for the most part.

I'm really not a big fan. I'm not gonna hate too much because there's still potential in the plants I have and so on, but yeah - I'll be pretty hard pressed to ever give them my money again.

*edit* Serious 6 vegged indoors and then put outdoors

I have not tried GGG or OG Raskal yet... They were next on my list. I would like a cool headband! If I get 2 other fast-flowering strains, I might get another 10wk'er.
I feel solid about Scott's OG... I am trying to decide between 501st or RugBurn OG... I can get them both since I will not be getting AK.
White Fire OG is never in stock, anywhere... I really have not looked into GGG too much yet. I have heard about the Joseph OG though. Supposed to be one of the better headbands from what I have heard.
