sensory deprivation chamber?

Anyone been in one?

My buddy is all hyped up to go - He said it is like an LSD trip minus the drug (he has done LSD several times).

From what he says you are dreaming conciously with your theata something.

We are going tomorrow - just wanted to know what to expect!

never been in one but i really ant to where are you going to use one? long time ago i heard you could go py some places and use thjiers but i dont know where if the one your using is online could you post a link

It didnt do anything other than relax me - I was so relaxed and chill when I left - I was all set to see things (they say it is like conscious dreaming) - NOTHING... But I couldn't really let go and totally relax (they say the first time usually nothing happens because it is such a foreign experience).

The place we went to was like a hippy lounge. They had incense burning - you take a shower, and climb into this 4x4x8 box filled with salt water and chill for an hour - get out take another shower...

Ya, I read it takes most people a few times before they start opening up enough for trippy experiences, plus it often takes more than the set 1 to 1.5 hours you buy. After you posted this I got all interested and did a bunch of research, and now I want to build one for myself.

Maybe try smoking a fat joint before your next session

I don't know how fun it would be if our government uses it as a type of torture.

Nothing like that!

It's fun for shorter times, but gets disorienting for longer times. It isn't classified as torture as far as I know by the way, but the disorientation makes people talk. England got sued for it by the Irish a while ago, but it got turned down because it wasn't considered a real torture, not life threatening, not painful, not emotionally scarring in the long term unless it's been like a week or more, etc... For the most part, I read that when people are finished with it and have a few hours to return to normality, they are fine, even after periods as long as 5 days.

I will most likely do that... I just couldnt 100 percent relax...

And do more sessions, what I hear is that it takes 4-5 before your mind gets used to it and lets you fully relax and open up (and by extension, GET TRIPPEH! =P)

True, I saw the prices and thought, damn, I could make my own that would pay itself off in like 15 hours.

Edit: The only thing confusing me now is the pump/filtration system. I haven't been able to find any details or pics. This seems to be the thing the companies keep secret, as it's really the only difference between systems.

It looked exactly like a miniature version of my old pool filter / pump.

I think they use ozone too.
