Sensi Hindu Kush Sativa pheno?

I purchased a pack of Hindu Kush from Sensi because I wanted a pure indica for my medical problems (crohn's disease) as strains with sativa in them actually make my pain worse, and give me panic attacks.

Here is Sensi's description of their Hindu Kush...

"This pure Indica seed-strain comes directly from the massive mountain range for which it is named. The Hindu Kush is the western spur of the Himalayas, covering half of Afghanistan and straddling the borders of Pakistan and India, reaching almost to China.

If this is PURE INDICA as they state, and selected for quality and STABILITY, always INBRED, producing CONSISTENT seedlings, DARK GREEN, SQUAT, BROAD BLADED, etc etc. Then what the EF is going on with my seeds?

Out of 6 seeds that germinated, I've got three that sound like the above description, and three that look like PURE SATIVA! They are taller than the rest, lighter green, with very thin leaves. Side by side with a fellow grower's super silver haze plant from Greenhouse Seeds, they look almost identical. SSH is almost 100% saliva.

How is it possible to get a sativa pheno in a PURE indica? I feel like I've gotten totally ripped off here, as this is not what their description stated. I emailed them about it, and just got a limp dick cut and paste response that said "Ask in the forum, we can't talk about cultivating cannabis"

Has anyone else encountered a Hindu Kush sativa pheno, or know how this is possible?

i grew out kiwi seeds hindu recntly suppose to be sensi stock from the 90's i had many sativa phenos theres no way its pure indica as stated theres some nice indica phenos though but i didnt find it as a strong indica ide recommend getting a stronger kush like deepchunk or lapis mnt indica as its a 100% indica afghan kush. their low yield but high quality rock hard buds that have awsome medical qualities.i have chronic fatique & sever nausea/ibs i grow lapis & its pure meds.

Thanks dude, appreciate the info and the recommendation. I've also got White Label's Afghan Kush on the go as well, and these seem to be a much more stable indica. All are squat, dark green, with thick indica leaves. I don't know where the hell they get off with the Hindu's description though, totally false.

wow....I was planning on picking up this strain on my next order. I guess I may want to re-think it

I would recommend the white label's version of Afghan Kush (and I think white label is just sensi's 'budget line'? Not sure how the two breeders are related, but they share the same website).

I picked this up at the same time as the hindu. All 6 beans cracked quickly, look nearly identical, and are growing fat dark indica leaves. If you're in the market for an old school Indica, you might want to consider that one.

I realize I may be making mountains out of molehills with the HK problem, because to be honest all the plants are growing exceptionally well, and the beans were very inexpensive. My problem is how off their description of the seeds were. When you buy cannabis seeds, you pretty much rely on the breeder's description, so it may lead quite a few folks astray. Especially those with medical concerns like myself who need very specific plant types for their problems.
