sending bud thru the mail? any info?

just wanted to see if anybody has any info on sending bud thru the mail. Like how to package it etc. and that is k-9 proof. i love the mail :fire:lol
 
Not possible to dog proof anything. Eventually the smell is going to get out and the dogs will find it. That said, you can work within those confines. I would really not recommend mailing cannabis, but if you had to I'd wrap it up in plastic wrap as tightly and as thick as you can manage, then overnight it through a courier other than your country's postal service. The USPS is a lot more likely to care about the contents of your package than say, FedEx. Another option would be to make some edibles and send those overnight or two day express. That way a dog alerting on it is perfectly normal, and they shouldn't be able to detect the THC.

With that said, I want to reiterate that I REALLY don't recommend mailing marijuana.
 
You never want to ship USPS, this brings everything to a federal level. UPS, has no interest in what is in your package and caries to many packages to search very hard, your risk is more that it will be delivered to the wrong address and opened or damaged in shipping and discovered, The risk is rarely in the shipping, you can drop off a package using a prepaid credit card that can't be tracked to you. The risk is in the receiving of the package. If they discover what is in it, they very well could try to setup the person receiving it, hoping to get them to turn.
 
What you do is get a smelly proof bag from your head shop. Put some gloves on (latex) then grab a handful of bud and toss in a regular sandwhich bag, then take off gloves and put that bag into a Smelly Proof bag. That was you have less smell on the outside of Smelly Proof. Then put in a mason jar and wipe jar down with soap n water. Shove that in a sock or two and set it in a shoe box, wrap and send normally.
Put a fake address for sender, you must have an address from sender.
Less than 20$ US mail More than 45$ fed x etc.
 
Put that shit in the middle of a jar of skippy wrap up mugs in baggie stuff into the pb screwlid on and Wala.
 
Hiding it in other substances with strong smells doesn't work. Dogs don't smell the same way we do. The dog wouldn't just smell the peanut butter because it's so much stronger, but instead would smell peanut butter and the weed. Alerting on a closed jar of peanut butter is also not something a dog would normally do, so that doesn't add any security at all.

That's something that everyone should know. You CANNOT mask the scent of cannabis from a drug dog. Their noses don't work that way.
 
Drug dogs can only smell what is available to them. If you use smelly Proof bags and leave no residue on the outside, plus being put in a airtight jar. I would say 10 out of 10 No problems
 
The peanut butter thing, yuch. And adding smelly stuff , again yuch. One must becareful as to not allow smells to intertwine. Can you imagine getting a jar of PB in the mail and in the middle is a fat sack of Dank, that must be renamed to Peantbutter Kush.
 
i have done it many times in the uk, was quite a few yrs back tho b4 9/11 and all this extra screening/security but everything allways got to its destination, just put it in a dodgy name and i dont really see what the harm could be even if its found??? ''wasnt mine officer i dont no who joe bloggs even is''

ive also sent and received other drugs in the u.k mail and only ever had 1 customs letter saying they had seized a parcel of benzos i told the website they reshipped and that got threw!
 
Damn I already answered this shit in another thread. You vacuum seal it and send it overnight in an envelope UPS. A pound vacuum sealed will fit easily. People do this all day all night. Do you know how much weed is exported from California? A fucking lot and it's making everyone I know filthy rich cash money men. Nothin like going to a friends house playing some Fight Night with 16 grand stacked on the table. Another one of my friends just snagged 5 grand from his PO Box yesterday. The demand is insane and it is just the California Gold Rush right here...I'll be in the middle of it if you need me.

what he said. It's more simple than you think. You can vacuum seal or get 'turkey bags' from your local grocery. Turkey bags seal smell. Then you ship overnight ups. It's worth paying 85$ for overnight for a couple of p's.

You walk into UPS with your package already all taped up with the name and address on it. Then you send to real address with fake name. Walk to the shipping, say I have a package for my Aunt in California, write down your information.....which is fake name and fake address like 1234 Ventura Street. Then get it over nighted and your set.

Of course this is a lot easier when you live in places like Cali where there are 100's of UPS's to ship from.

But ya ... LOT OF RISK INVOLVED.

I'm sure if you were ever being watched "they" would figure out real fast where your supply is coming from! :wall:

This is good advice.

Yes the dog will smell ______ and pot. But this method if done cleanly would work. I have heard (means not much) that oven bags work also.

That being said, I doubt that edibles would throw off a good Malinois!

UPS and FedEx have had some bad publicity regarding this. UPS cooperated with the DEA for "Operation Green Merchant" in 1989 giving up shipping records from hydro shop orders.

UPS AND FedEx both are known for opening packages containing homebrew for contests or gifts and emptying containers, wrapping back up and delivering...often with not even a note.

IF the USPS was using drug dogs for domestic mail...they would hit on every package or letter that was handled by someone who rolled a joint...or the piece of mail was on the table where you cleaned a bowl...or touched your car...or the mailman who smokes out at lunch. I work at a school that brings an obviously poorly trained young Lab through the classrooms on occasion, and the dog often hits on objects like notebooks...which contain nothing but have been touched.

Just like ordering seeds, a fake name is a red flag and should be avoided.

I have had things stolen by USPS (not weed..a pair of vans for my son a month after 9/11, and cash in a card to FDD for a piece of glass 8 mos ago or so)...so once you send it...say good bye and hope for the best!

There is no way to fool a drug sniffing dog. They can smell parts per billion, even when it is concealed among other stinky stuff.

The only way to beat the dog is to fool the handler, not the dog. Whenever I go on a road trip, I keep my stuff in the dry outside pocket of a cooler, and I keep some type of meat in the cooler. That way, if I ever get pulled over and searched, and the dog goes crazy on the cooler, the handler might blame it on the delicious steak.
