Magnesium: Lower leaves turn yellow along the tips and margin and between the veins; the lower leaves wilt...Lower leaves yellow and may even turn white while veins remain dark green. Blades die and curl upward.

OVER FERTILIZATION Causes leaf tips to appear yellow or burnt. To correct soil should be flushed with three gallons of water per one gallon of soil.
MANGANESE (Mn) Necrotic and yellow spots form on top leaves. Mn deficiency occurs when large amounts of Mg are present in the soil. Foliar feed with any chemical fertilizer containing Mn.or straight up heat stress!!!!:dunce:

Looks more like a pH problem to me.

Spliffious, dirthawker is right, that is the system to run if you want to run aero, but I know your on a tight budget. If I was gonna buy a light system that I wanted to last, and I had 300 dollars to spend this is what I would buy. http://www.htgsupply.com/cart.asp If you want fancier bulbs, you can up grade, but its an air cooled digital 400w mh/hps conversion. I just bought a 400mh with that hood, its supposed to get here today. I wanted the digital, and the conversion, but I only had 200 to spend, not 300.

You just linked to an asp file with no variables, that cart link isn't going to tell him anything, you have to link to the files individually.

in response to OP:

I don't really think 600w is really necessary.

I think you should go with a new 400w, and rig up and aero system similar to stinkbud/dirthawker but not of that massive magnitude.

1lb every 3 weeks is more bud than most people know what to do with.

Thanks for theheads up on the link see if this one works. http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=48969 I didn't realize it wouldn't work for you guys.

I love the stink bud system, I'm not running it yet, but i will be at some point. My only reason for suggesting, and wanting the 600 is the ability to do something bigger in the future. The 400 would work fine, but the 600 will leave him more room to grow as he gets more exp, and wants to get bigger. If he vents it well, then the heat shouldn't be an issue.

Good advice. but I got like 300.oo. Went to the local shop today and HD and got supplies for DWC design I snagged from stinkbud i think it's gonna work nice.....

My list of supplies:
1/2" weather striping
2 Rubbermaid RoughNeck 18 gallon
2 10' 1/2' pvc pipe
elbows, T-angles, end caps all 1/2" pvc. $.30
Submersive 480c pump. $30.99
6x3.75"net pots $1.00 each
10 red ez-spray valves. $.35 each
Pvc Purple primer/gold cement. $6.99
rubber mallet $13.99
3" holesaw $18.99
3/8" chuck to fit holesaw $15.99
2" holesaw combo $10.99
Drill kit $13.99
10 lb bag of Clay balls. Hydroton. $10.00

1 tube of heavy duty rubber nails. $7.99
to seal ez spray valves in place. after i thread holes.

Total spent on supplies for Gear= $150.00
:cuss:

I F'IN FORGOT ONE THING A drill bit to thread the nice straight newly drilled hole. The Ez-spray valves have little threads. The holes are tight enough to where the red guys will go in hole and won't thread yet. Damnit, I'm almost able to test it baby!!!!
I made my measurements and came up with game plan. Cut the PVC/primed/cemented/dryed/drilled.Set in place. Didn't Disinfect Yet! I will after test trial.

One Big Question? How to hook the pump up to the 1/2" pvc pipe running to sprayers. Should I get a 2-4" piece of 1/2"hose for the screw on attachment? 1/2" rubber flex hose would work from hardware store. They tried to sell me 100ft at lowes. I have to go to more of a lumber yard/hardware store.

Anyways, I think AG has seen It's last of me soon! I have to contact customer service again. God, did it take forever the first time.

good stuff... im thinking about going DWC myself after i saw the performance im getting out of my aero cloner.

go get yourself a tap for threading those holes, and while your there they should have reducers and couplings to connect anything to anything at home depot. youll be able to get the pump hooked up to the 1/2" easy enough.

thanks for advice on hooking up the pvc to the pump. I haven't made an aerocloner yet. I've seen them done, but wanted to build this guy first. How simple are they? What is on my next shopping list?

I need a timer. For cycling on i'm guessing 1 min every 5min. I think that is what stinkbud was using.

I was thinking of getting one of these:

Yeah I pretty much think it's a PH problem that I'm Dealing with. Ive finally stablilized PH at 5.8. Ventilation is way better.
bongsmilie

I'm at 3 weeks from seed in Aerogarden pod, crossed my fingers, stressed the shizz outta them and now look where I'm at. For a first timer ever even germinating seeds. Kinda cool...

How long should I vegg?18/6 light

When should I switch to flower 12/12.

Nute's are up there again dang it. 980ppm.

I put like half a shot glass of #1 and #2 for veg cycle(then i got this other red labeled stuff for the flowering cycle). I'm guessing being new to this that you have to provide different nute's for the different stages of growth. I just halved what it says for a 1 gallon mix.:dunce:
