Selling Seeds in Medical States as an Indicidual, not a Licensed Dispensary

Legally, I know that dispensaries carry seeds from brands they rep as well as the occasional clone, but are medical card carrying patients aloud to trade genetics, clones, or seeds, for a donation? Specifically speaking about states that have not legalized for recreational purpose.

It all depends on the specific laws in the state, or county, or city. Before Colorado passed the rec laws there were two phases of medical law. At first anybody could sell anything to dispensaries. Then they clamped down so only state licensed growers and/or breeders could sell retail.

In California, it is legal for patients to trade buds, clones, and seeds, with one another.
Trading for a suggested donation is also legal.
