Selfing seeds

hey everyone, so iv been growing 4 or
5 yrs now great. Started playing with selfing seeds. So I got a kit to make some CS spray. Made some pollen and Wanted to give it a try so I used the same plant cause I sprayed a clone of the plant I’m gonna pollinate. Did it’s thing collected the seeds. Nownim running some testers of them 6 and 6 planet of the grapes x and planet of the grapes x Booberry cookies. 18/6 light and in hp promix. 3 gal fabric pots.
there in there 5th week or so of veg and I got one that is starting to preflower? No signs on any others it it’s not slowing down and looks like it’s starting to bud. No light change at all all same nutes for em all but only one showing signs of flowering. What does this mean?

Its probably not flowering its just most likely sexually mature alot of plants will show preflowers almost in the veg period once there ready to so that pheno is probably just the fastest nothing to worry about bud if its not that it could be root bound possibly but my bets on the first one i said some stuff just goes into bloom mode when root bound why i even mention it

Hey Conor, when breeding and looking for a faster finisher would the lady that threw pre-flowers early be the lady you would target for selfing? Or still best to take clones and grow multiple out?

For breeding regs and looking for quicker finisher do you take the same principle for the female and then for the male, what are you looking for? First to throw balls + cluster group? I've recently got some regs for outdoors that I'm really excited about and would eventually like to fem.

You would think that it doesnt always work out so sometimes it does sometimes it doesnt id take cuts n flower em out to find that one out mate then that way you know which ones fastest for sure

They wernt supposed to be fast finishing i just hunted the best pheno of the planet of the grapes and wanted to try selfing, so I took one of the clones of the mother I was keeping and sprayed it and used that pollen on another clone from the same plant and also on a Booberry cookies I was keeping. I had no autos the entire grow. Or even now injust popped an auto in a dwc a Week ago.

Weeks to go. Never rely on breeder hype or estimates.
Plant will not follow some arbitrary time line - plant will hit peak when ready …. No matter how long that is.

Plants do not care what week or day you say it is on.
Continue feed as necessary and lighting

So you made this seed, from photos and selfing, and got an auto? Are the original breeders sneaking Rudi into "photo strains"?

Yes it’s a seed from what I reversed. No autos. At that time esspically pollen and no they were ethos planet of the grapes I hunted out . I reversed and collected and used on a clone I cut from her and used some of the pollen left on a Booberry cookies I hunted out. These are the seeds.
