Selene or Killing Fields?

I'm putting in an order with Sannies this week, obviously a couple packs of the Sannies Jack are coming my way, but I have been REALLY interested in the KF, but recently got very interested in the Selene as well. I can drop a couple hundred on seed, that means 2 JH and either 2 Selene or 2 KF.
This is gonna be a small "quality before quantity" commercial grow, and I'd like to hear from anyone who has grown out these 2 in regards to yield and potency. The longer lasting of the 2 would be the most likely contender, as from what I can gather they are very comparable.
I welcome any and all input from experienced growers. It's my first time growing "mail order seed".

I have Killing Fields F4 in the vault, but have not gotten around to sprouting them yet. I was waiting for a Sugar Punch drop and got impatient ..... and per the advice of a friend that has grown KF I pulled the trigger and bought some. It uses the same mother (The One) as Sugar Punch, but the father is Sannies Jack as opposed to Super Silver Haze in Sugar Punch.

Thanx Stow. I was interested in the SP as well, but read disappointing results from several reputable growers. Think I'll stick with the KF or Selene for the time being. I'll be really interested in what you have to say about the Sugar Punch once you do grow it out. You do know it's showing as in stock right now don't you? I am dropping this order by Saturday.
What was your experience dealing with Sannies?

I already grabbed 2 packs of Sugar Punch. Thanks for the heads up though! :-)

I ordered the Sugar Puch through cannazon because Sannie stopped accepting credit cards. I have bought KF, Caramel Candy Kush, and Cheeseberry Haze in the past through Sannie (when he accepted Credit cards) and it was an excellent, easy transaction. Very clever stealth. If you don't mind sending cash I would deal directly with Sannie. If you would rather use credit card then you can get pretty much any Sannie/Dynasty/E$kobar strains through cannazon.

AW shit!! Sannies don't take plastic??? I really thought they did at one point!! That screws everything!!! Cannazon OK to deal with? Obviously so....Thank YOU for the heads up. Cannazon seems to be right there price wise, so I'll get the JH and KF or Selene there. Stupid question maybe, but it WILL be the real deal Sannies, right? You comfy with that?

I have grown out a couple packs of seeds from cannazon, and have no reason to believe that the seeds weren't legit. Having said that, he does remove the seeds from the breeders pack to accomodate his stealth method (don't throw out the package .... keep looking in weird places until you find them). Sannie also removes the seeds from his packs to make his stealth work. I had good experinces with both places. The only difference I have heard is that Sannie will replace the seeds if they get intercepted at customs, where as cannazon won't. I haven't directly asked either company about this. I've only heard/read this online. You might want to send an e-mail to the cannazon people about replacement policy before ordering.

I kinda believe that it's a crap shoot with customs. As long as the sender makes the effort at stealth, I aint holding them responsible for my bad luck. I rely on references from folks whose opinion I value. (You being among that number) You've had good results? 'preciate your input Stow!

I have had good results from tha packs shipped by cannazon. I would recommend them to anyone. If/when you place the order, shoot me a pm and I'll save you a little frustration on finding the seeds when you get the envelope. The first order I placed through them I almost tossed the package thinking I got scammed. :-)

Will do, thanx Bro. I'm gonna go with the KF this round. Maybe try Selene next grow. I KNOW the JH, but I want another heavy hitter without the couchlock effect that lasts a good while.

Hey Jack,
I grew kf f3 last year outdoor and sannies jack f7 the year before outdoor here in norcal. I have a few selenes growing this year.

The jack is good, really straight sativa with lemon flavors only. Not like the jack (I think sensi) that I’ve had in Dam in other places. Less NL influence maybe with the Sannies stuff.

I really liked the kf to look at and for yields. People like it and it’s not too strong but has a nice daytime creeper buzz. Not my fav to smoke, but nice commercial strain.
Here’s some pics of kf – one of the prettiest plants to grow with great yields.

green pheno - diesel like smell was a bit stronger but HUGE plant.

Hope that helps. Good luck this year.

It would've been stronger if it went longer.

I understand having to harvest early outdoors though.

Yeah, I harvest all myself throughout 5 weeks almost. Some were early, some were on time, and not many were late. On average, the kf was was less potent that other dark purple/blue/pink strains I have smoked and/or grown.

Mantis, Dats some nice stuff there! Tell me more about Selene. KF is kinda getting back seat to the JH. Potency wise, does the KF stand up to JH? Is Selene more potent? Looking for a good Sat high balanced with body buzz. Thank you for your input and stupendous pics!!

I just placed an order for some Selene today, with the Shiva X C99 freebie requested, pretty pumped for both. There are quite a few reports of KF having lower-ish potency which, along with the lowered flower time on Selene of 9-10 weeks is what made me go with that instead personally. I've seen some pics of pretty nice looking Selene plants around.

I'm definitely leaning toward the selene now. I gotta put the order in tomorrow, as I just lost my original JH genetics to a fucking mouse or a rat. NEVER in 10 years has this happened.
Thay, who'd you go thru?
