Selective Bud Pruning

Last night I pruned the top nugs on this girl. She was showing maybe 15% amber triches on the top nugs while the lower ones still showed a few clear ones and no ambers.

I guess I am experimenting to see if flowering and THC production will continue to mature the lower buds, but I would like some feedback as I haven't seen it tried on ROI or elsewhere.

Of course it's possible that the shock of pruning could stop production or even turn it hermie, but thi strain has proved very rugged and well adapted to being topped and LST'd, so I think it will survive this. I think I have removed maybe 12% of the plant.

here's a pic from a few weeks ago, the buds you can see there is roughly what I chopped, although they are a lot bigger now and theres lumpy nugs all down the branches.

and this pic is for scale, again an old pic:

so what will it do? Produce bigger buds? more or less triches? Continue maturing, or just drop dead?

well after any kind of pruning there is a healing period, other then that it will cont. to grow and mature.
