Yes indeed i don't have good ventilation im growing in my closet i use a 6'' fan and a ac unit but i disagree on getting rid of it cuz regardless ill get weed out of it whether its a quarter ounce or less but i will get that in mind for my next grow

That's probably your main problem right there, dude. Too much heat means not much bud. You'd be better off getting rid of the 600 and grabbing some cfl's or LED's...or even just a smaller HPS (250/400).

also id like to thank you for ur advice the ph for my nutrients says it should be 5.8-6.2 for veg and for flower it should be 6.2-6.8

6.8 is a bit high...generally you want 5.8-6.3

Thanks, see was that so hard? i mean you don't have to be an ass for a beginner all i wanted to kno is how you guys get nice buds thanks again and i will keep that it mind. Once i do start flower it gets VERY warm in my grow closet but the humidty says its at an ok level for plants

Anything over 83-85 degrees is going to stress out your plants and give you a lower yield. I'd suggest trying to figure something out to get that hot air out...maybe even just a small fan blowing air out of your closet. And...yes, it's been very hard to try to help you. Words of advice...not trying to make you pissy. Making threads like "no one wants to help me" is just...I don't know. It makes it sound like We are HERE TO HELP YOU...not that we're just like you on the forums trying to learn a few things and maybe help a few people out along the way Ask for advice...don't demand it. And when you don't get help in the time that you had hoped...don't act like we let you it was our job to help you and we failed you. There's is lots of useful information on this great thing called "the internet". Use it to your andvantage. Respect people...and they will respect you back...with time. Stone rant...I know. Just trying to help a young grower out...as I to, or other growers have may went through the same thing when we were younger.

Thanks again! I would also like to apologize to you for my behavior. Anyways I have the ph tester kit with the solution but i don't own a PH pen i can't find a cheap one anywhere the hydro store sells them for 100 dollars and my budget is a little tight right now. He also told me the ph tester kit wont give an acurate reading with the nutrients he gave me cuz its dark in color so what i've been doing is empyting some out and putting water in so my ph isnt to low or 2 high is that smart? or what should i do?

HTG has some for 19.95 and also I've seen some on ebay for around 15. I know you probably don't have access that that but try ph strips if you have to...or the ph testing solution.

Actually that was the temp in my closet it was usually 81-85 degrees exactly also im sorry for the misunderstanding i didn't mean it like I demand you guys to help me i do apologize and i am very thankful for the info you gave me. I just see hundreds of people looking at this post and not replying.

that's what i own the PH UP and PH DOWN but the guy at the hydro store told me their not acurate for the nutes he gave me he said their dark in color so if i did the ph solution he said the color would be diffrent but im deffinetly gonna buy the ph strips cuz those are cheap and i think they sell them at home depot that is close to me

don't they won't work atall with nutes strips are like ten bucks anyway you may aswell get a cheap 10 $ digital ph meter

That's how I felt when I first joined this site. It gets better...just keep a positive attitude and try to give as much as you take. When I joined in 07' I was 21 and I did tons of reading before I even joined. Even after that I still felt like there was always more to learn...and there is. You'll be surprised how much info you get outta this great site...and maybe make some friends along the way.

Where i live there are hardly grow store around me im like in a deserted place kinda haha but anyways i live close to home depot and they only own the ph soil meter and not the ph pen soo idk what to do i should just get another quarter ounce i guess ): until i get enough money for that expensive ph tester at the hydro store

get the strips for now i'd say then order a digital one online grow shop's are way over priced generally speaking

Also i got a question i get my clones from michigan are you from there? also 1 more thing the strain i got was from a friend and he used NO nutes what so ever and had a beautiful yeild i think it was an ounce and a quarter so i was wondering why the hell does his grow turn out better he using a 1000 watt hps on like 4 plants and he told me 600 watt on 1 plant is better then 1000watt on 4 plants but what you guys told me Light isnt the only important thing i also just put a fan on my plants for veg idk if that will help or not

I live in the sticks, closest HD is hours away but ebay and amazon are at your fingers.
You might be surprised what you can get and how cheap it is. Sure beats having to
settle for what the local stores offer. Ebay it up and get what you need.

The fan should help them keep cool a tad. Is your friend from Michigan. We have a soil made here that is supposed to require NO nutes whatsoever throughout the whole grow. Can't quite remember the name...i'll look next time i'm at the shop. And honestly...an ounce and a quarter isn't really much with 4 plants under 1000w. Maybe you should guide your friend to this site as well.
