I'm about to do a smoke report for the Seedsman Original HazexSkunk#1 which I've sampled and am chopping and beginning to cure this week. I can already tell you that you would not be dissapointed if you grew this stuff and I would highly recommend Fim and LSTing it. It makes a nice bush with multiple colas and the high visually trippy, lasts for hours and creeps up on you. Is very social, been having awesome conversations with friends in the grow room. I'm going to order their Tai, Skunk #1, and possibly try their white widow which I've heard good things about. I've heard several people grow their Skunk no1 and White widow and were so happy they just kept growing and cloning it with need to search further.

Low Stress Training (LSTing) you can find it in the grow FAQs at the top of the page for detail and pictures.
Basically though it means bending the stem/plant over at an angle by tying the stem to the side of the pot with string. Then what I do is top it or cut the top at around 5 nodes and then it will grow 2 main branches up and form an entire seperate cola adding more buds and growing the side branches up into a more even canopy with all the bud sites getting more light.
There how to" in the grow FAQ's

I'm curious to hear how that turns out. Are you going to do a journal for the purple?

As to the other question, I do fim after I tye it over, and then I let it veg for another week to adjust and for the side branches to grow up evenly and for the two colas to sprout up and develop a bit.

i have no PERSONAL opinion on seedsman, but back when i originally was looking into malawi gold, a member in another forum told me to stay the eff away from it and called it pure schwag. after my personal experience with VISC burmese, i avoid any breeder that has that and similar "IBL" gear just to be safe and there's a couple breeders that seem to have almost the same exact lines.

Ive grown White Widow and their Original skunk #1. both were above avg overall. id be willing to grow them again

the WW does very well with topping, LST, supercrop, training etc. easy to keep them in compact bushes of colas. i grew 8 or 9 of them under 2 600s and ended up w/ 13oz but only vegged 3-3 1/2 wks at most under 1 600w so it is what it is. its plenty potent. very sticky. decent smell. almost 1 hitter quitter stuff. it was probably a 2-3 hitter quitter (amount of tokes to get more than a headchange. 1 hit would get you a headchange though) it can be racy in moderate doses (.5g-1g)

the skunk #1 was also a fairly compact plant. grew pretty nicely. strongest smelling strain i ever grew. i only grew 1 among several others at the time under 2 600s. yield was solid. just shy of 3oz in a 3gal pot. smokes nicely. it was maybe 55/45 leading towards the sativa effect slightly. its only 8.1%thc according to seedsman but dont let that discourage you. i think the skunk#1 is an AWESOME daytime/all day smoke. it gets you high pretty easily (you dont need 1g to catch a buzz) but doesnt get you messed up to where you cant go about your day. it very well can be "get sh*t done" weed.

seedsman is supposedly the original breeder of skunk#1 and judging on what i experienced id be inclined to agree. the smell alone let me know this was definitely skunk #1. dead skunk on a pile of rotting fruit mixed in with a musty dirty gym clothes funk is probably the right description of the smell. my gf was CONVINCED it was moldy bud. i checked...nope...just SUPER DUPER stinky buds.

the smell is definitely the best part of the strain. carbon filter required unless you live miles from your neighbors. you could smell my skunk outside of the house! (i live far enough away i got away without a filter). the longer you get in flowering the worse it smells.

overall i'd say its a good smoke.

i havent tried anything else from them.

i would say seedsman is at least worth a try because i dont have anything negative to say about them and ive grown a total of 10 plants (2 strains) from them without any problems with plant uniformity...hermies...or any other common complaint of breeders that are crap. besides you can get regs from them for pretty cheap (ive seen many under $40 for a 10 pack of regs). thats a good deal imo.

Seedsman is a reseller of Sam skunkmans Seeds (the original skunkman). All the Afghani,Northern lights, Original haze etc are Sam skunkmans.

Try Nemesis. I was more than impressed with it. Its the one in my avatar <<<<<<<<<<<<< Big yields and its lineage is awsome. Nepalise X Nrt Indian the pic on seedfinder is also mine.
Very potent above average sativa sided smoke

A lot of people tell lies, & second hand information isn't as valuable as? The owners & employees @ Seedsman are very friendly, kind and generous as well. I believe some of their personal gear is now being grown by other breeders. They're finally dealing personally with customers in the USA.

ran a Skunk HAZE from Seedsman.. great bud .. but when ur growing Sativas.. make sure u have sativa customers because waiting 12-15 weeks to finish and no1 liking sativa buds.. makes it suck hard ..

buttt then again. im kinda lucky no1 liked it.. because after security issues.. we tore down our indoor spot.. and while packing i found a quarterpound of skunk haze.. and i like sativas so it was great for me .. a qp of skunkhaze thats been curing for 4 months.. was bomb.. but im lucky i got to make a some crosses with the skunkhaze male..

I got two Power Africa's going right now, and they are fucking incredible. One is at 4 weeks flowering today and the buds are pretty big and trichy already. The other one is in veg and we recently bent it over because the shoots on it are long and strong lol, and in one day the shoots have all formed a nice canopy. I highly suggest Power Africa, it grows a fat stem right from the beginning, awesome genetics. I have a thread with lotgs of pics is your interested check it out
