I germed a dozen of his seeds a couple months ago. 100% germ rate and all popped soil. No mutants.
Let us know how yours turns out.

+1 for True North / Canuk seeds.
No issues with the fem’s.
Had one of the freebies that wasn’t feminized(Afghan)be a male, but that’s just the roll of the dice.
Last run was Critical Widow, and they came out dense and happy under an over used 600w.HPS

Edit: I chose Canuk because the person I was working with is Canadian

People complain about true north but i have had great sucess with them. And wait for a canuck seed sale they often go on for half price. :) I am still stocked up with over 40 seeds of various fem seeds. They have been all germinating for me (100% for the last 15 to 20 seeds)

Shit I was just catching up on some of your posts, I like what you’re doin man.
I’m not super experienced, but I try to do my research before I spend my $.
I just put in my next order for Canuk, they started their BlackFriday/CyberMonday deals already.
I should have “DJ’s Grow Journal v2.0” soon.

I just ordered from Farmers Lab Seeds. An xmas present to myself :)

Nothing exotic or anything but the site looks decent and it allows CC, e-transfer and it's pretty local. Will update on my experience as it goes.

BTW, I got the 12 seed mix n' match for $100 or so delivered.
Might get some of their Painkiller. Looks decent but I think their yield amounts are more than slightly exaggerated. lol

Thanks for the link! Much prefer to buy from a Canadian supplier.

Merry Xmas to you and yours! xmastree.gif

I have a ? Can you still buy seeds at brick and mortar stores in Canada?

Many years ago I travelled to Toronto and went to a store called the Hidden Jungle and bought seeds over the counter.

While we where in Toronto we linked up with this guy that sold us a half bag of probably the best weed I every smoked. He called it government weed. It had trichs that were so long and thick, it was crazy.

Most hydro stores have seeds. They are a lot quieter about it but you can get them. And they accept cash. Lol

LOL man does that store name ever bring back memories. He was out in the west end on lakeshore blvd.

As for seeds in Canada you can't go wrong with PeakseedsBC. I have run most of his lineup over the past several years and IMHO MikeJ is the most underrated breeder out there.

Yes, on lakeshore blvd. That's the same store. I was wondering if anyone would remember that place.

Hell, that's was probably 15 or more years since we went up there. Beautiful city btw. Great herb all over the place. It was my first taste of good weed, all we have back home is brick weed. The fellas at hidden jungle sent us down to queen street and we scored pretty fast. Had a run in with the cops, lol. All ended well though.

Maybe not to right place for this post but here goes.

Where can I order seeds in Canada? Either in Canada or a reliable source elsewhere with no issues shipping here.

Thanks
I ordered seeds from Ocean Grown in Cali but you can’t buy direct you have to go through Lumberjack SS. They were out the door to the shippers in 2 days. It has taken about 2 weeks but the package is in Canada now. So it remains to be seen if the customs agents have raped it? I can’t see why as it would be Canadian customs and weed is legal here now? However, our stupid government may consider these non taxable and not approved for sale in our country and consider them contraband?

There is a hydro shop in Kamloops BC that has seed from various supply houses like Krop King etc. But with pretty sizeable markup.
There are also breeders in the Kootneys that have great seed for outdoor. However many of those would be too large for an indoor crop. However, they are photoperiod plants so ??? I suppose you could grow them smaller? Good weed too!

I don’t want clones, I can get those from growers in my area. I want fresh genetics and with that I need males. As a result my choice of seed supplier is limited to those that sell quality, stable seed. At present there are very few seed vendors that aren’t selling seed from multiple sources. They can’t possibly test the seed from all the sources so the claims they make and photos they use are generic images from their sources and the seed could be old. If you try to find genetics from individual growers/ sellers you are more likely to find them standing behind their claims. Otherwise in today’s internet world it wouldn’t take long for bad reviews to pile up. True North seeds and several others that have been mentioned have multiple bad reviews. Some like Kootney Seeds or Lumberjack have few if any bad reviews. There are a couple venders from Vancouver Island that are fairly reputable too. They sell direct but also sell third party too. Sadly seeds are way over priced. I think it’s more to do with what people are willing to pay vs the actual worth of the seed.

If you like Reg's, Jordan of the Islands is solid for price, quantity, and generally quality.

Got my beans from Farmers Lab Seeds yesterday. Ordered 12, got 16. Still a few weeks to wait before there's space in the tent.
