Seeds in females?

I have a dumb question. Why do I get seeds in the bags that I buy? I assume they were female plants? I've been buying erb for years (not for long if i can get this growing thing down) anyway, I have a bagseed collection that fills up a spagetti jar, but I'm wondering how. Even if it's just one or two seeds per oz, how does that happen if the grower of the stuff I'm buying is only growing girls?

This has puzzled me for years.

Besides just pure curiosity, the main reason I ask is I have a female Kona Gold plant flowering outside, it's not done yet, but I am wondering if it makes it a few more weeks if I'll get a few seeds for next years crop.

Thanks.

females make seeds due to being pollinated by males. Alot of large scale grow ops dont care enough to grow good bud and will just leave large amounts of plants growing in remote plots of land setup so the plants are basically on their own and then return in the fall to harvest, some visit them inbetween them points a time or two but if youve got seeded females it means they didnt visit in time to kill the males before they had a chance to get the ladies with their pollen.

if its homegrown its probably due to hermies.
female plant in stress can throw a few nanners and pollinate some parts.
can be just one nanner, can be half a plant.
if its just one the grower won't likely find it and the buds will have some seeds.
If a plant go hermie full power and neglected the whole bud could be filled with seeds.

So, I have only one plant, and it is a female (what are the odds), so I shouldn't expect any seeds,,, but it could happen due to stress.

Good info, thank you.

you should look for nanners popping, if there are only a few you can pluck them and trash them. if there are too much you would be better off trashing the plant or accepting it will be fully seeded buds.
No logic in cloning a hermie for later use.

I find an occasional seed in my buds. if its less than 10 seeds for a 350g crop (which is usually the case lately) I consider it more than acceptable.
If its more like 50 seeds something went wrong.
Its common for one or two nanners to pop and pollinate a very small portion of the buds giving a few seeds.
Trash the seeds as they contain hermie traits.
