Seeds germinating on plant.

I woke up this morning and found on one of my seeded buds three seeds that germinated on the plant. It has been raining a lot and I want to know is that normal? Thank you in advance for any info.

WOW. Never heard of that. Must be raining 24/7 huh? Not normal. It's rain, humidity. Check for mold too.

You are correct. Raining everyday. Mold is a constant issue. This was the first time I ever saw this. Checked all my buds which are very dense and full of seeds. It just freaked me out a little. Thank you for the quick reply.

There was another post about this not too long ago. I can see it happening. What you should do is harvest all but that bud and see what will happen and how long can the seedling actually live for experiment sake. Its a re-re-veg:eyesmoke:

Never thought of that. I just plucked and planted for inside grow. Mold and spider mites are killing me this this grow.

Once a plant begins to self-pollinate or is cross-pollinated, it focuses almost all of it's energy into reproduction...as opposed to creating THC.

I'd chop it if it's still indoors..

My plants are an outdoor grow. I have two seeded plants, one is a Leda uno KcBrains and danky doodle KcBrains. I crossed them with a male vintage mix from HGS. I reveged them from last grow. It is still raining so I know with the amount of seeds they are producing I probably will have a few more sprouting in the buds so I will try to post a pic when it happens again. My other outdoors are Purple nepalese female crossed with a vintage mix from HGS. They are approx. 9 ft. and been flowering for approx. one to two weeks. Vintage mix is one of three strains mixed with white widow. Panama Red, Acapulco Gold, or Columbian Gold. They just sell the mix and do not separate the stains. Plants are very healthy but are very hard to hide in my back yard. I should also say that this site has been very helpful and I would like to thank all who give their info freely without all the trolling and bickering.

No. when a cannabis plant produces seeds, it doesnt sacrifice potency, it sacrafices yield. Greg green believes this as well.

wow ,i really came off like a dick there, it does put a lot of energy into making seeds, but it doesnt sacrifice potency:hump:

Must have been pretty mature seeds cause fresh seeds tend to rot and mold when they are immature if left in wet conditions.

Like I said I just did it for the seeds. I was not worried about the look of the plant. I thought it was weird that the seeds germinated on the bud. Thank you again RIU for all the help over the last year.
