Seeds cracked but no root yet, what to do?

Hey it's my first time growing and I've managed to get 2 seeds. So I followed a video that said it was %100 success rate. I put my seeds in a cup of water for 24 hours until they dropped to the bottom in which they have. Then I placed them between 2 wet paper towels in a zip lock bag inside a shoe box in a dark place which I have. The seeds have spent 24 hours in the shoe box I opened up to check on them and I saw they both have cracked open but I couldn't see any roots? Should I throw them away or keep them in the shoe box and wait until tomorrow?
 
It can take awhile for the tap root to appear. Even 2 days. Seems there's a sheath or sac it has to break through.

Haha I can but it's really hard I just get really excited since it's my first time trying to germinate cannabis seeds >.<

FYI: Consider soaking sometime to see how it compares. I did the paper towel thing and didn't feel comfortable disturbing the seeds, looking in on them. Soaking in a shot glass, I can look in anytime.

I add 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide to 5 parts water. Oxygen precipitates out of the water, clinging to the seed as small bubbles. Helps hold the seeds to the surface, avoiding the risk of over-soaking. They just stay in the water until 2-3mm of tap root. Floating on oxygen bubbles. Easy to look at.

Sorry I didn't say thanks to you too for the advice so thanks hehe :D yeah I don't really mind if the weed turns out kinda crappy I just want a plant for myself and stuff

Wow that seems kinda cool man haha, I gotta try that when I get new seeds. It's kinda hard to get seeds since I'm in Australia. Pls FBI don't raid me :c
 
I live in Australia too don't worry theres no fbi here lol (Herbies is good but u can get good (strain/ named) seeds local ;))

That's where I'm having a bit of trouble I don't know any sites that sell seeds based in Australia all comes from netherlands only if I knew a few dealers :/
 
if you go through tor browser theres a dealer on bluesky like the old silkroad sells weed and good seeds. herbies seeds is uk based and takes about a week

That's awesome I'll try that, does he only accept BTC though or can it be done through paypal and what not?
 
$40 or something for 10 reg seeds all branded he's got all sorts I got my shiva skunk (see my journal) through him. pm for bluesky address if req
