I had some issues with these from the beginning using a new soil. The shine is from neem oil. I spray religiously in veg as a preventative measure and haven't had a mite in years after battling those demons for a long time.

My sour diesel getting ready for a good scroggin.
Basic organic off the shelf seedling soil. Black magic?

Needed more perlite but I didn't add it.

Let them get cold and hungry for a bit
But currently on 1/4 strength gh
And they are greening up.

5 girls 5 cups
Lol, I really just use what is handy at the time.
I planted in the cup, then planted the cup in the bag, i will then transplant that cup and bag straight into a larger bag.
The bags are reusable if you want.
By cup i assume you mean peat pots which bio-degrade and allow roots through?

None, no mess, and the larger bags prune the roots.
Its pretty simple fir lazy guys like me
Dang. There are bigger peat pots that fit perfectly well in my small 6" pots which I start my plants in. I used to use both together all the time with my vegetables grows. I'd start them inside to get a head start on planting them outside.

I never even thought of doing that with these plants.

Veg tent in various stages of growth; most of these plants have been moved already but you can see how my process goes.
Recycled living soil & clean water
The progression is:
Seed to yogurt cup 18/6 3-4 weeks
Under 400w MH
Yogurt cup to solo cup...2-4 weeks
Solo cups are vetted for sex 12/12 under 600w 10k MH + leds
Boys become worm food
Girls go into 3 gal grow bags & return to the 18/6 veg tent for 2-4 more weeks...see the row in back
From here they go to final bloom phase at 12/12 until harvest

Ya those police were bamging on my door as well ate all my seedling good ones too pissed me off.
Yeah, that is painfully funny, but reminded me of a time, many years ago, when I had to flush a bunch of seedlings because a nosy landlord saw them sitting on my kitchen windowsill and threatened to call the cops.

I moved shortly after that, but not after getting revenge - one night, a few weeks later, I snuck into the laundry room and started up a couple of the washers, tossed in a bag of concrete, then unplugged them and left. But then he was a real asshole about a lot of stuff, even kept my cleaning deposit, so I felt he deserved a little payback, lol.

As for seedlings, I got a brand new batch of my homemade DJ's Shortbread - from a pack of regular seeds I ended up with a really nice monster male which I used to pollenate the best female of the bunch and ended up with over a hundred seeds (just from a couple of smallish lower branches). These have been in my fridge for over a year, but every seed out of the 42 I germinated popped, which blew my mind, lol.

In this pic there are 39 survivors (minus 2 runts and one accidental fatality ;?) they're a few days old and need to be transferred to cups stat.
