Where is a good place to start dwc seeding before the big pot

i would switch to hydroton ASAP. before any roots come out of the rapid rooter.

how soon can you get a bag of hydroton? the expanded clay balls.

you are asking for trouble growing in RW cubes in dwc.

you don't want to transfer a plant to a bigger net pot if that is what you are asking.

once my seedling sprouts in a rapid rooter, i put it into the netpot. then water by hand until roots come out the bottome of the netpot.

once the roots go all the way thru the netpot into the reservoir, then you can stop top feeding.
