hi guys, these are my husbands seeds, they are under a t-5fluorescent , he has them on a plate to be closer to light because of stretching, they are under a humidity dome, around 70 to 80 both on temp and humidity, do I just keep these under here until root start to show through rock wool or do I add cfls? Keep feeding only ro water I have ph balanced around 5.5 to 5.8? Two Afghai#1 are popped and one master Kush, the afghani is stretching, anything I can do? Thanks in advance, hugs to you all!

Seedlings don't really need to much light, what wattage is the t5? I use to use a 45 watt Flo to pop seeds and was pretty much able to touch the tops of the plants with out a burn issue...try getting the Flo as close as u can like two inchs if it doesn't get hot....if not just go get ur self a 100 watt CFL and use that...they produce no heat and are great for seedlings and will fix your stretching issues

Remember, it's not good to leave a rooted plant under a dome for too long. Go with daylight spectrum tubes if you plan to veg them, I'd plant the two and maybe the third one that's sprouted. With seedlings the roots will be coming through the bottom of the cubes instead of the sides like clones.

You should remove the dome, I usually do once the seed has sprouted, I use T5's also and keep my lamp as close as possible to stop stretching, in rockwool cubes there are no nutes, therefore you should give them a small amt of nutes, and I mean not too strong, I usually mix 1/2 dosage, then cut in half again with water, thus the nutes are 1/4 strength, could cut it more, hope you have a small fan going for constant air circulation, the fan should "jiggle" the pant a little to help strengthen the stem....hope this helps and best of luck.

Thank you soo much, I have one seedling of lemon Kush I put in a soilless mixture once it sprouted then put under a 6500 sylvania cfl, 100 watt and put small fan next to, finally have 1/4 strength general hydro flora series nutes to it, after 3 weeks under that dome, it finally started growing, I have to agree with your advice, it sounds like food advice considering the help I received with the
ex on Kush seedling. I just was unsure because I put that in soiless mixture, these are going dwc, thanks so much, you guys rock, you are awesome. Thanks for all the help, you all have been my lifesaver, or my plants life saver I mean, thanks again?
