One (of 2) of my seedlings has been half eaten! It had just completed the germination stage (within less than 3 days from seed showing no taproot), having it's embryonic leaves and a pair of healthy single blades above.

Now, having not fed a certain greedy lizard of mine within the last 8 minutes of the incident, it decided to take wrath upon my little plant. My pets not kept nearby, just very fast when shes (always) hungry. Her stalks still standing straight, but there's a slight discharge at the chomped off top. To add to my aggrevation, these were the last seeds in my stash.

Should I water the seedling or leave her quite dry?
Should I increase or decrease the amount of light she's under?
Will she ever grow leaves again?
I understand this is an unusual problem, but any help is gratefully recieved. If you can't help, at least see it as a laugh and a lesson. Cheers

as unusual as it is my homeboy had similar issue, his happen to just "top" itself and continue on about her business. My recc. would be to put her under some floros and easy water for a week or two until shes healthy enough to rejoin the group

Cheers for the advice, it's exactly what I did. Unfortunatly she fell over 2days ago and won't survive any longer. She was just to young for such an attack. Lesson learnt. Luckily, the other one is now doing very well.
