Seedlings in Cup

So my seedlings are in a cup and they are germed just waiting for the sprout. They are sitting in a window at the moment. Is it too soon for light or is the light/heat good for them? Its really been a nice couple days so they've been sitting in the window waiting for sprouts.

it doesn't matter as long as the conditions are right... but you can leave it on the windowsill, let it grow close to an inch than put it under the lights

next time... after you already germed the seed, either 1. lay the seed on top of the dirt THEN ADD a layer of dirt so you don't have to worry about burying to deep or 2. use the end of the pen without the point, and poke the soil, so you just have a narrow shallow hole just big enough for a germed seed, and lightly cover the seed

it can take a week or a little more for a seedling to sprout depending on how deep you put it and how compact you put the dirt on top of it
