seedling under 250w...help plz!!!

i have a 3 day old seedling and its grown 4" inch in 3 days.
its about to fall over i have a 250w hps 22" inches above it.
what should i do +rep

plant is streatching for light lower yer light down to 8 inches repot yer plant and bury the stem so it stands on its own and get a fan in there to blow on it so the stem strengthens up and it moves the heat away ... bury it so there is just an inch sticken out

That is what I would say to do but with a tiny bit more detail. I would repot the stretched seedling but I would plant it deep enough leaving only about ¼ inch between the top of the soil and the first leaves.

The more of that weak stem that can be buried the better off he will be because less of it will have to be relied on in the future for stem/stalk support.

Also the weak stem once below soil will push out roots so the more stem you bury the more roots will push out so the better root system you will get and you will get it quicker.
 
Other than that bit of detail .. just like it was said. …. light about 8 inches off the plant top and have a fan blowing on the plants and as the stem grows it will grow thick and strong.

but i still managed to mess it up :evil:
i thought you wrote burry it an inch deaper=...bury it so there is just an inch sticken out.
damn,is it too late to bury it deaper its a whitewidow this is how it looks now.

ive got the fan on it too.
