Starts are starting to pop up, ? is should the seed shell be removed from the sprout, a couple seem to be pretty tight.

Let them wear their little HELMETS. when they grow the pods should fall off. Sometimes they won't, then you help, but wait a while. You don't want to damage the plant just because something looks wrong to you
Good luck :):):)

Just leave the shell on. I planted ten seeds and the first to sprout had the shell on. Two days later all nine other sprouts had four leaves so I figured I should take the shell off. The sprout just stopped growing. It is now a week later. All the other sprouts have been replanted and can officially be called plants now but the one I plucked the shell off is just starting to unfurl its leaves. The shell is on there because it needs to be on there - don't mess with it.
