I am using jiffy pucks so there is no nutes till the root brakes the bottom of the jiffy puck , I've been feeding my seedlings that are on their 3rd node a weak mix of B-1 thrive and it seems they grow enough over 12 hours for me to see the growth and it seems like when its getting close to water them they are slowing in growth and yes they are in MG soil and no they aren't getting nute burn or other problums like alot of people have had and I have taken out the nute balls that were in the soil before I planted then seedlings that are 3 nodes high

Don't sweat it man, just add nutes when they hit the 4th node. It is ussually when the plant starts growing leaves with 7 fingers or whatever they are called...
As for the seedlings, it don't really matter what way the root is facing, it will flow with the water after just one watering...
What does matter is that the cotlydons are right at the surface of your medium pointing up. Beyoond that you will be just fine.
 
Frostick, I have seen u around here since I started, I figured u would be pro by now. You give some good advice, etc... Not rippin u, just suprised u aren't on grow number 25 or somethin...

lol na I've been doing clones from the plants I got off my friend so this is kinda my first time doing seeds , lol yea I've been pretty busy and watering and feedling my older plants and dealing with my seedlings and harvesting every week I've kinda been forgetting to do things so I've been trying to do things in the morning:leaf:
 
i`m not bashin the mg. it just dont need nutes for about 3 months thats all. or you may burn. or realy light.
even thopugh you took out the nute balls the nutes are still in the soil to, thats why people burn.
carefull with mg they have been in alot of trouble for not saying what is realy in thier shit.
years ago they were busted for using a chemical in agent orange in thier stuff and not telling people. some died.
companies like that dont get my money. and they are back in shit again recently, staff at thier plant are getting sick.

well I've been reusing the soil because I know what there's in the soil a little more then when buying new
 
Yeah, seeds blow compared to clones, I hatched my first seeds in like four years, relocating and couldn't keep clones over summer.

I'm almost a month in and they just now look like good clones after they've rooted :rolleyes: I forgot how long it takes to grow from seed.

yea no kidding I have plants from seeds but I'm so use to starting from clones so yea some times it isn't easy to remember stuff if you start from seeds for a while:leaf:
 
Yep, seeds are definately a bitch. Easy to do, but so, so slow. Shouldn't you be mixing up some soil and planting those seeds??

I don't mix soil for seeds I use Jiffy pucks , the same thing I use for cloning , they are easy to use
 
seeds will alweays give you a more vigor plant and better and bigger buds. and higher thc
 
I personally like seeds better than clones, it just seems more satisfying to me in the end because I love the grow part.

yea and they also give you more experince. I like clones because they cut down on the time needed to start and I know its a male or female , seeds are nice because it gives me more experince and if you know what your doing you will have less problums:leaf:
