Hey so this seeding sprouted while I was asleep and it already looks bent over, due to me being asleep I wasn't able to turn on any grow lights. Could that be why it's bent over?

I don't think it dampened off considering I didn't water it much and the stem is still strong, like it seems to just be grown curved. It hasn't fallen over the way damping off does.It looks like it drowned. Roots need oxygen and a really wet media can cause damping off in young seedlings. It also could be that it just is coming up out of the soil and needs some time to acclimate to a light source. Put your lights on a timer and give it 18/6 of light/dark and see how it goes.

Just put my lights on a timer, thanks for the help. I really hope this ends up doing ok.It looks like it drowned. Roots need oxygen and a really wet media can cause damping off in young seedlings. You'll know in 24 hours or so. If it's not standing up towards the light by then, something's wrong. Hope it works out for you, they're so exciting and fragile at that stage.... I get it.Just put my lights on a timer, thanks for the help. I really hope this ends up doing ok.
