Seedling soil ?

Hi, Can i use the same soil that i will use for veg and flower ?

2/4 mg potting mix
1/4 perlite
1/4 vermiculite
and a bit of peat moss


and do i have to put a light on seedling or let them in the dark ? for how much ? i got a 400 hps

yes use the same soil and when the seed sprouts the surface of the soil put it staright under your light.

you know how far should i put my 400 hps from it ?

i start my seedlings under a 400w hps and can get it as low as 6-8" with the right temps.
