Seedling Question

Okay, so I started my seeds w/ some seed started plugs, and a humidity dome with fluorescents about 20in from the top of the dome.

Most my seeds seem to have germinated just find, but I noticed some are growing different than others. Is the shell of the seed supposed to be growing upwards towards the light(???), because some of the seed remains are growing up, and some the "root" is growing up and the seed is still in the hole. I drew a picture so you guys could better see what I'm describing.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Do I need to adjust my seedlings, do I need to adjust my temperature?

Thanks!!!!

Its because you didnt push the seeds into the hole. The roots are pushing the seed out. They may sort them selves out

Should I close off the hole on the others that haven't raised the seed?

And should I close the hole around whatever it is that has sprouted?

Was I supposed to push the seed into the plug?
Was I supposed to close the hole?

I guess I just haven't seen this happen to anyone else before, and I didn't realize the seed growing upward w/ it was a problem.
