Seedling Problems

Hey guys

These plants are 22 days old and I just started noticing a few spots
and a bit of curling. They are 60 day wonder seeds(Royal Automatic)

They are under 2 white tube fluorescents on 24 hours and
a 600w HPS on 9 hours a day with a fan blowing on them
when the 600w is on.

Pics!!! Advice please

what kind of soil are you using? Have you added any fertilizers or anything like that? Where's your water coming from? Any advise you can give along those lines would help in a diagnosis.

Why 24 hours of light? Autos grow best on 18/6...even plants need sleep!!! I would slowly cut that light back until you are 18/6 or at least go 20/4 and let those poor things get some rest!!

The plants are under the fluorescents for 24 hours and only the 600w for 9 hours a day should I change this???
I haven't used any fertilizers yet the water I've been using has a ph of 7(Goin getting ph tester and solution soon)
The Soil I have been using is just regular compost

Definitely cut your lights to 18/6 and if you are going to use the 600w hps make sure it is at least 18 inches away...I use cfl's for vegging and an hps for flowering.

You can keep cfl's as close as 2 inches from the plant because they don't produce the amount of heat that the hps does. Once I flower I still place some cfl's near the bottom. The cfl's you use for flowering:

As for your soil, I can't help you there as I grow in hydro...

Try a small dosing of ferts. All that plain watering may be stripping the soil of its nutrients. Maybe do a foliate feeding as well right after you turn out the lights. Put a pinch of pulverized limestone on top of the soil before watering, that stabilizes the pH (reduces acidity) and add Mg and Ca to your mix. A lack of any number of nutrients could be the cause of that. I had my plants on 24/0 with good growth at first, and then they started to slow down and look unhealthy. I really recommend getting them down to 18/6. It really helps. People have all kinds of data saying this that and the next thing about whether darkness helps or not. I'm sure they have researched well, but i still don't give a crap about it. The plants genetics are used to darkness. Bottom line. After I put my plants on 18/6 I see steady, healthy, progressive growth.

22 days old?

Probably about least 6-8 waterings right?

Thats 6-8 waterings taking nutrients of out of your soil, without adding anything back in.

Thats my 2 pennies.
Hope it helps! Keep posting we'll keep track

ya i would get a simple 1 part grow fertilizer, i like flora nova, and mix it at 400 ppm. get your ph around 6.5 and do what your doing otherwise. If it was me, i would go to 700ppm the next watering and probably 900 after that with some plain water waterings inbetween. I always veg under 24 hrs light for autos and regular ones, especially if i need the heat and it seems to work fine, and i really doubt that has anything to do with your problem. I dont know what your soil is but for me, its nice to use one that is designed for you to add all the fertilizer so i know everything they are getting, so when you transplant this next time i would start using that. Do you have a thermometer/humidity meter in there? If so what is your min/max and if not, get one or two, the $5 ones at walmart are great, keep it as high as the top of your plant and reset it after you look at it ever day and make sure you stay in good temps
