Seedling Nute burn (corrected with flush) = overwatering - H2O2 question

Ok,
So I'm new here and I'm doing my first grow. I have 3 bag seed plants on week 1.5 now and they got nute burned about 4 days ago (I know...I 'wigged' out and added nutes before I should've )

Anyhow, I was seriously worried they were goners because they were so young and I didn;t want to lose em so I 'flushed' and that has done the job. Now, I have an overwatering issue caused partly by the flush but mostly by me again (dirt packed too tight, watering too much aside from flush, and more...)

Trying to be proactive, what I have done today is use a thin wooden stick to 'aerate' the soil some and they are probably going to stress some from the roots being disturbed as careful as I was.

I am now thinking that one look pretty bad and I am considering using H2O2 to get O2 to the roots. I've read how to do it but I want to use what I've got instead of waiting to find 'food grade' peroxide. I found this: http://www.h2o2-4u.com/grades.html which seem to express that the only difference between the two is that 'food quality' H2O2 was inspected directly in the container you purchase, while plain jane H202 was instead inspected by taking a sample of an H2O2 batch. The testing and standards in both cases are explained to be identical, so in essence the stuff we know as not 'food grade' actually was considered to be exactly 'food grade' H2O2, but only while located in the same container it was last inspected in

Phew, anyhow...does anyone have any experience using the plain jane stuff? Thoughts?

Hmm, I didn't read my own link too far it seems.

There are listed differences in the makeup of the two lower in the page, besisdes what is called 'technical grade' I miststook for 'grocery grade' hehe.
Still would like any feedback or opinions.....

If you use the h202 you have to get the soil wet again, thats not what you want. Put them on a towel so it will soak up as much water as possible. Then bump your temps to at least 80-82 and make sure a fan is blowing for circulation so the soil will dry faster . First you dont fertilize until 3 weeks and you use a extra mild solution. Then no more till 5-6 weeks at around 400ppm. Over ferting causes deficencys. Second overwatering causes root rot and other root diseases. You flused now let them dry. Poking around in the soil is a bad idea no mater what you use. Pot is a weed and does not need mass nutes or water. All that does is stress them and in turn they dont grow! In some places they grow wild with no one to take care of them. If you leave them alone and stop over ferting and over watering they have a better chance to recover and produce some bud. Good Luck!

Thanks man, I appreciate the tips. I totally just let myself do most of this crap pretty much knowing it was not smart.

They are doing 'way' better. The one that looked real bad lost the first two nodes of it's leaves (the 1 and 3 leaf nodes) it was so bad but it has bounced back in a huge way. Had only the 5 leaf node left and now the 7 and 9 are in and it's doing nicely.

I guess I needed a smack upside the head to stop doing 'too much'.

The vegetative feeding/watering is definately one of those "Fast is slow" situations for sure. Now that I almost blew it I've learned that lesson pretty solid.

Thanks again man ;-),

yea im dealing with a similar situation, however working with hydro, my babys are about 9 days after germ, and they have the first 2 small leaves, and a few are starting to push out their second set of single leaf leaves. I guess ive been reading a shitton of conflicting information. im using botanicare pro....or shoud i say i will be using, at first i went by the back of the bottle and i used full strength....oops they got a bit yellow and some of the tips dried up then i was told to use half strenght, now im reading that most people dont even use nutes.......will i be safe to flush with pure water for a couple weeks?? i have them in rockwool sitting in hydroton, been giving them 2 feedings a day with what im afraid is too strong of a mix....my ph is around the 6 range. oh and the strain is b.c. godbud, ive heard is a "slow-one".............any thoughts??
