Seedling not growing. Completely stunted.

Rockwool period in dwc is terrible if I were you, I'd take it out, cut the rockwool, and out the bare seedling Into the netpot. it will help a LOT. Rockwool just keeps sucking up water and logs the taproot

I might just give this a go. Just kinda thread the roots that are existing through the holes and stack the hydroton around the base to keep it in place?

Peel off the rockwool The roots don't need to be through the holes just somewhere they will be getting wet. They will make their way to the holes.

Okay for sure yeah that makes more sense. Not sure if my lil seedling will be able to stand up alone like that but I guess I'll see what happens?

thats why its easier to grow them out in something else until the roots are long enough to go out the bottom.

Okay got her out of the rockwool nice and gently. I laid the roots flat across the net pot and gently placed some hydroton in there and tried to stand her up as best as I could. Do you guys think it's okay if the leaf is slightly touching the hydroton?

No no man... Clip out one rung of plastic in the bottom of the netpot so you can get the root through it and have it hanging out the bottom. Not lying across. The whole point is so the root can uptake water.

Oh wow not sure how I didn't notice that in his pics... it looked like they were just resting tbh. Dug it up and fixed it! Hopefully I see some results and ill let you guys know what happened. Thank you!

Okay well it grew a new leaf. Now sure what its doing. I'm hoping my Seedsman order shows up soon so I can get a new one started right soon...

It's hating life in DWC at seedling stage. It's a mutant for sure. Definite genetic deformity. A lot of times its just a one off though and grows out of it.
