Seedling help.

Hi all just looking for some advice. I have been growing for a couple of years now and have experience germinating, growing and caring from seeds from day one but have never had any problems before.
My last batch, 11 AK47 + 1 Black Widow were germinated using the paper towel method, all sprouted in 36 hrs and were planted 1cm down in Canna Proffessional soil in 1.4ltr tall pots, a tried and tested method in my case. All was going well fot the first few days, looked real healthy as usual but I went up today and they were all a bit stretchy, a few had fallen over and did not look strong at all. I have left them for 8 hrs today after switching my 250w envirolite bulb an rechecked, still no improvement so carefully extracted the root ball and repotted up to the first set of leaves.
The thing I noticed was for the amount of time they have been in(4 days) the roots were very small(they usually go wild in the tall pots) and looked a tinge brown, not the best I know. Anyway they are repotted and we'll see how it goes but if anyone has any suggestions please comment.

Tried and tested, stable strain.
250w envirolite(blue spectrum) 3 inch from tops.
Kept perfectly moist.
Light mix soil so as not to burn plants.

I have a feeling it may be the cold:sad:

No expert here, but it sounds like one of two things that could be wrong with your water. I could probably eliminate one by the experience you have... over watering. Or the other which could be a problem with the pH of your water that you're using. I would check the pH and get back to us here.

hrrrmmm...

I too am no expert.. but have a good 2 years of experience...

if I had to take a stab and guess at what the problem could be or might be... I would have to say you may be seeing early signs of Root Rot. Which.. of course is not good.

A picture would have been nice.. but I understand the complications you might be having..

soo but yeah I would have to take an educated guess and say that you might have early signs of 'Root Rot'.

Good luck to ya though. :)

peace.
